One of the most amazing immersive experience with this kind of music. It captured the essence of what ceilidh is all about: a gathering of other community in song and dance and food. And the place, for the price of admission, provided Cape Breton Tea and local oat cakes, served in porcelain in china teacups. How can you get better than all of this? Oh yes, the performers were incredible! Sold out house and it usually sells out each night so get tickets early!

What a fun 2 hours. The music was terrifc and the friendly engagement of Jillian on fiddle and Justin on organ made it very intimate and engaging. We loved it. What a bargain at $15/person!

We had the great pleasure of attending an evening of traditional song and dance in a cozy, intimate setting. John, the gentleman in charge of organizing this event was absolutely dead-pan funny! We reserved seats one day in advance (reservations are highly recommended) and were rewarded with front row seats. The performance was headlined by the very talented Derrick and Melody Cameron with special guest Brian Doyle who is an absolute dynamo on guitar. The two-hour session included a lovely intermission that included traditional oat cakes and tea/bottled water. This is a MUST SEE when visiting the Baddeck area.

We went both nights we were in Baddeck. Amazing music, friendly people and tasty cookies. There are different musicians every night so it doesn't feel like a repeat.

Our entertainers were excellent musicians and dancers, they got everyone involved and introduced us to the music culture of Cape Breton. It was a memorable evening, one we would repeat if the chance came up again.

Incredible live performance by two Cape Breton musicians in a parish hall that seats only 40-50. Worth coming to Baddeck for!

Get ready for some real Celtic music which will have you tapping your toes and clapping your hands. A stop here was the highlight of our trip to Cape Breton where you can feel the soul of the local heritage. The oat cakes and the tea made us feel like the locals.

We went twice because once is not enough to experience real Cape Breton musicians in performing fanatstic fiddle accompanied by a pianist. Both times meant engaging musicians presenting Real Cape Breton style of music accompanied by a spiel about their lives&styles as musicians. You can't go to Cape Breton wihtout experiencing the music!

The price of $15 $CAD was a bargain for this experience!
