We arrived at the course very early but the staff were welcoming and even got us in early. We played in four hours with no delays. The fairways were wide and forgiving The par 4’s were long for women so a good chipping game is...More

Beautiful course, in great shape with forgiving fairways and great views. Would have liked to walk the course but we were flirting with rain so took a cart. But because we took a cart we finished the first round quickly so we took a quick...More

I played Bell Bay as part of a package from the Inverary Inn. My only disappointment was the additional $20 charge for a power cart. As a visitor, I am never sure how walkable a golf course might be. By mid-July, the course had dried...More

We played this course on June 20th and were very disappointed. It was a lovely sunny day but the course was soggy everywhere due to some recent storms. Staff in the pro shop were not very welcoming, the website is very misleading, we only saw...More

The course was easy to follow with wide farways and greens quite challenging. We organized a package through Novas Scotia tourism website including an overnight stay at Inverary Resort. Unfortunately clubhouse burned down last year and new clubhouse underway, but not too impressive when you...More

The course is in excellent condition to support the Cape Breton Open this weekend. This is one of the best courses on the island with some of the best views of the Bras D' Or lakes. It's a must play if in Cape Breton!

The first time we played was after a rain and was soaked. The course needs a lot of work. There was no clubhouse, pro shop in a trailer and food in a halfway shack. Wouldn't go back.More

Hello Fran, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback here on TripAdvisor. As you might not be aware our beautiful clubhouse of 20 years was tragically destroyed by a fire last July. Hence why we are operating from temporary trailers. We have asked...More

Our 10 year old son loves to golf but often professional courses don't allow young children. We were elated to learn that Bell Bay did! When we rented our vacation home in Baddeck it included two daily passes to golf: my husband and son went...More
