Typical nose to tail trail ride but the scenery makes up for it!

This was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. We were in a group of 4 with a guide. It was a hot day and we moved pretty slowly, nose to tail, but the woods were cool and... read more

This was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. We were in a group of 4 with a guide. It was a hot day and we moved pretty slowly, nose to tail, but the woods were cool and lovely, the beach was a breathtaking stretch and we had the fun of crossing through a stream on the way back which... More

My daughters did the beach ride one afternoon while in Cheticamp. They had a good time, said the tour guide didn't have much to say though. I didn't have any of the reservation or customer service problems some have reported on this site except their website says the ride is $60 and I was charged $65.

We are from the US and thought this would be a great end to our cabot trail journey. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. Not only did they falsely charge our credit card despite cancelling the reservation 1 day in advance, but they were extremely rude when we arrived an hour later to see if the tour has left out... We made reservations and attended this location on July 11th. My 4 yr old had a pony ride at the stable and myself and 7 yr old did the 30 minute trail ride. The trail was narrow with some small hills to give a better riding experience. Both girls loved the horses, chicks, and cats at the stable. No issues... More

The place is fun, and the chicks who work here really love to ride, and know the area really well for tourists. I like the place. Good value for money.

We went on a fantastic one and half hour beach ride with Helena as our guide. The horses were great and Helena was very helpful and made the ride a lot of fun. She made us feel very comfortable on the horses even though we weren't experienced riders. There was great scenery on the ride and we even got to... More

We visited Little Pond Stables this year for the fourth year in a row during our vacation stay in Cheticamp. This year my daughter and I did a one hour trail ride and the beach ride. Teresa and Meg were wonderful as guides. They both pointed out various sights, kept up a friendly banter and made sure we had a... More

We made reservations for the trail and beach ride. This was my first time horseback riding and did not disappoint. The trail to the beach is wooded and narrow but a nice lead up to the ride on the beach. The Cabot Trail is behind and ahead of you and the horses walk on the shore (or in the surf).... More

If you don't have reservations, you are treated like chopped liver. I saw the place from the road and asked about it. They seemed put out for daring to bother them.
