This was a very cool place to play golf. Yes the conditions aren't the best but the layout was fun and scenic, and it wasn't very expensive to play. We played it because it was a Stanley Thompson built by hand some seventy years ago....More

The course needs a course turf management specialist. The grass on the fairways was too long. The tee boxes to dry. The sand traps were reasonable but had little sand. I enjoyed the numerous elevated tee boxes and the narrow fairways but found some of...More

I have wanted to play this course for many years , however be careful of what you wish for. It was in terrible condition no better then a low end municipal golf course. The beauty is undisputed and the design is very good but save...More

First of all I want to make it clear that The Highlands is a fantastic golf course design and layout from Stanley Thompson. Unfortunately it has deteriorated as a premium golf course while under the management of Golf North, who seem to have a history...More

No practice range, poorly maintained fairways and bunkers, not a Links course, cross the highway twice, five hour round. Big disappointment. Not at all worth the drive from Cabot.
