We hiked in July 2017. It was a hot day, and the trail is somewhat wooded - so we didn't get as much cool breeze as we would've liked. It was a nice hike though... some steep hills and tree roots, but the lookout at...More

This was a very nice hike that can be done in about 1.5 hrs (with kids). It is largely shaded and is a good option on a hot day. I would suggest stopping at the Keltic Lodge for a BEvERage after your hike.

The loop hike is a relatively easy hike, with some beautiful views. The extension off the loop is much longer than the map makes it look and has lots of up and down, but going any part of it is worth the gorgeous views.

We took this hike in the evening - it was just lovely. Highly recommend. Nicely maintained and clearly marked. We took the hike with our dog and she loved it. Great views!

Nice meandering trail but definitely some climbs that will tax you a bit. Lots of beautiful foliage and end up with stunning view of Atlantic!
