Pros: Easy hike with great views the entire route, varying scenery (grass, woods, coast), near beach, near Keltic Lodge Cons: none I usually don't give 5 star rating to much, but after spending the day hiking this trail I cannot think of anything I disliked...More

This is a short trail that can be easily completed within 1 - 1.5 hours. Note: although this is listed as an Easy Trail, there are portions of the trail which lead either up-hill or down hill. This could be a little taxing for the...More

Probably not suitable for very small children and anyone with walking difficulties as the path had a lot of above ground tree roots. It wasn’t much of a waterfall either but still a lovely fairy short walk and a nice break if you are driving.

Really great hiking trail! The views are amazing, and getting to the end is a treasure itself! Trail was up and down cliffs, but was doable for the not in shape. Enjoy!

Volunteered during the NS Hike Summit in May and even though I am born and raised in the area, that was my first sunrise in Ingonish from that vantage point...amazing.

Really good to experience a bit of local history and imagine what it must have been like the back in the days of the pioneers.

4 km walk through the trees to great coastal views, followed by a drink in Keltic Lodge. Well worth it though very popular

This wonderful trail is good for people who don't necessarily like to hike much, while being interesting enough for serious hikers, and it is GORGEOUS. Lots of cheeky red squirrels and woodpeckers; plus we saw a ruffed grouse do his drumming display not five feet...More
