It is really wonderful eating outdoors at this winery. I enjoyed a good glass of Ortega. The fries my husband ordered were top notch. Our guests’ Reuben sandwiches looked very good. The one let down was the open faced chicken sandwich. I ordered it because the description said there would be red wine cranberries. Instead there were a few whole green grapes on top. It was bland and unexciting. Disappointing.

For my wife's birthday, we made coming here an event. We enjoyed wine tasting, a fabulous dinner, and stayed overnight in the inn. We took a walk in the rain through the vineyard up to the viewpoint. All in all, a romantic and uber pleasant experience. Everyone we encountered was really nice. The wines are good, distinctive, certainly. Wait staff at the restaurant were fun to chat with.

Our group of 20 was professionally received by a FANTASTIC host at Grand Pre Winery. Amanda was super friendly really did know her products and how they fit into both the local and international scene.

What a treat it was to experience a wine tasting with Amanda today at this beautiful spot. The tasting room was well furnished and beautifully laid out. The choices of wine were well explained and a lot of care was put into helping us make the best choices for our palettes. The wines were mostly light and crisp and very enjoyable. We visited when it was still cold so unfortunately the vineyards were not bearing.

Stopped at Le Caveau Restaurant for lunch, before heading to the airport. The charcuteric board and local wine were both superb ! This is a lovely restaurant and definitely worth the stop. The staff are welcoming and the food is wonderful.

We stayed at the Inn at Domaine de Grand Pre for our Anniversary. The room was beautiful, the service was excellent, as was our meal at Le Caveau. We enjoyed trying many of their wines with our meal. We loved the convenience of staying on-site and eating at the vineyard. A great way to celebrate a special occasion.

Stop here once a year to sample and buy wine. The vine yards and views are great. I strongly recommend everyone at least go to the wine tasting. We haven't tried the restaurant yet but have heard positive reviews.

I wish I could remember the name of the lady who gave the tasting but she was amazing. Was the most knowledgeable and informative of all the vineyards we went to in the area. The Pomme D'Or is unique and very worth a try. Will definitely try the restaurant next time were back.

Fun little winery with excellent wines, nice tours 3 times a day and they ship inter-provincially and have a nice museum.

How far are you from Sackville? I am dropping my daughter off for Uni and would be flying back to Seattle from Halifax.

Hello, we are about 45 minutes from Sackville. It takes about 50 min to 1 hour to get to airport from our place, depending on traffic. There is a bit of construction going on the 101 - so depending on when you are driving to the valley, you may be stuck in traffic.

Good morning Marianna,
you are welcome to visit out winery anytime. If you wish to do a guided tour and tasting, cost is $10 per person. You can also simply do a tasting, and the shop has different tastings available from a regular to a premium tasting. The wine shop is open Monday through Wednesday 10am to 6pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am until 7pm and on Sundays 11am to 6pm.

Yes we will be! the shop is open regular hours, 10am to 6pm and the restaurant will be open for lunch 11.30 until 2pm and then for dinner service at 5pm. The patio will be open all afternoon with a limited menu.
