This garden is different from other gardens. It is a labyrinth intended to allow visitors to explore each of 20+ landscaping elements. It is designed to make you calm and meditate on what they are telling your mind as you go through it. The attractions are purposely put together in a semi-structured manner, which made me reflect that a normal life can be not perfectly structured. Life has ups and downs, changes, a place to ponder and experiences turning points. We all need to spend time to be in the nature, to listen to our inner voice, and appreciate the beauty of everything around you in the nature. Everything I saw in the garden, flowers, frogs, water ponds, etc. could be a small connection to lead to telling me something in my inner life. Admission is $10 per person. The garden itself is optional. If you don't want to visit the garden you can visit the shop that sells locally produced fruit jams and stuff. The flavours are very unique.

This extraordinary garden is an amazing surprise by any standards and can hold its own alongside Beth Chatto, Christopher Lloyd, now Fergus Garrett s Great Dixter in the Uk. Even Charles Jenks . But the more so because so few homes seem to be surrounded by anything more than grass.
The range of plants glowing after the destruction of Fiona was beautiful. Asters, cosmos, grasses, roses, ferns , autumn crocus, crab apples and rosa glauca hips in allees, labyrinths and knots, birds sang and bees worked the tiny aster flowers. Thank you for a final day of joy in Canada.

Overall, the garden was disorganized with pieces of structure and organization. Some areas, you felt you were bushwacking through the gardens and other areas were beautifully groomed. For me, I like gardens to have structure. That being said, I would suggest seeing the gardens and enjoying nature in its natural state.

We were not impressed at all with the gardens. A lot of the areas were over grown and full of weeds. You would have also expected a lot of the plants to have markers so you knew what you were looking at. The place needs a lot of TLC.

A trip to Wolfville is not complete without a plenaire picnic and relaxing walkabout in this labyrinth of a garden. Get ready to have your mind blown.

We entered the Tangled Garden during the off season but there was still so much to look at, an amazing selection of savoury and sweet jams, vinaigrettes, and - my favourite liqueurs all produced on site. The staff was so helpful and very eager to provide us with free samples of anything we wanted to try. As a result I brought out an armful of delicious treats when I left. Highly recommend visiting this unique shop!

Very disappointing. Charging $10 per person for an overgrown backyard is outrageous. I don’t understand why there would be a fee to visit at all when there is nothing to see at this horrible backyard called garden.

What an amazing venue for a small wedding! The gardens, the small buildings, the unexpected garden treasures, the rusted bits and pieces, the owner and staff were absolutely wonderful.
A Charcuterie board was set up on top of an old rusted sink with a glass top. Not only did it look beautiful, the selection of eats was so delicious. Tea was served in bone china cups and sauces. Jjams, chutney and preserves are made at Tangled Garden and can be purchased in the little shop.

I’ll be back.

This was my second visit to the Tangled Garden. They have an array of fruit jellies priced just over $20 for a size normally priced at $6 anywhere else. The gardens are over grown and uninspiring. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Based on the reviews we were looking forward to the unique jams at the gift shop and a stroll through the gardens. We arrived and opted out of the garden walk, it looked overgrown and unkept, not worth the tour price. In the gift shop we were interested in tasting a couple of jams however, were informed they were only sampling one flavour that day. We felt like we were inconveniencing them with our request to sample jams, despite their signs indicating they do samples. We left disappointed. Not sure how the reviews are so high for this spot.
