This modern regional visitor centre is not very large, but contains a great exhibit of local fauna, flora and artifacts and is staffed by some very helpful people who go out of their way to make your experience in Inuvik pleasant.

We stopped here twice for Local information and both times received excellent service. They also have a very good cultural display of the north. Do not forget to ask for your certificate saying you past the Artic circle.it is very well done.

The staff here are very helpful and interested in the history of the Arctic. There was an amazing sealskin wall hanging on display that is likely quite old, stitching of different colours of sealskin to make imagery.
