Kylik were not professional during our stay, we paid more than $ 22000 for less than 3 days (6 persons) and the customer service was dismal. He did not respect what was planned in the program (observation of the northern lights and sleep in Tukuktoyatuk in a BB, the meal was not enough, a small traditional soup is all , no light in the toilet, the heating sheets were not well washed, the truck was dirty ...) I called him several times and left messages without success....…

My husband & I paid aprox. $5000.00 to Kylik Tour conpany for a flight from Yellowknife to Inuvik & back, 3 nights at the hotel & the reindeer day tour.Contacted him while in Yellownife to be told the reindeer had not been moved.(1st time every happened) We would have to ride a snow mobile 4-6 hrs one way & it would probably be cx'd but we could could the ice run for no extra charge. Not what we booked. He cx'd everything & said he would reimburse us. That was 3 wks ago. He will not answer my calls or respond to e-mail.2 Senior citizens on a budget & had believed Kylik.…

I went for Tundra North’s Reindeer Signature Package tour in mid-January this year and enjoyed all the thrill-elements and unique experience. I have been to many adventurous tours in different parts of the world and found this trip to the Arctic area very interesting. It is great that both Inuvik and Tuktoyatuk provide good internet connection so that I can work and play without any problem. There is no need to worry about the bitter cold as everything is well taken care of, including warm bedding inside the igloo. Noel and Jerry fed me with good knowledge of the culture they are proud of, Brandon made sure I did not miss the northern light on the first night sleeping over in the igloo, Bruce took me out dog-sledding and snowmobiling in Tuk with a lot of fun, and Michelle cooked a good meal with caribou steak and muktuk. Ice road, sleeping in an igloo, building igloo on a frozen lake, local food, viewing northern light, new highway joining Inuvik and Tuktoyatuk, and walking on the frozen Arctic Ocean are things tourists must do. In this time of year with short day light, the sun is always just above the horizon and I took many “sunrise” and “sunset” pictures. Although there is a little foible that the reindeer herd was beyond reasonably safe distance to visit, Kylik honestly refunded me a reasonable amount to reflect the missed fun. I travelled solo and got picked up and dropped off at Inuvik airport without any problem. People are nice and I did not have to worry too much about safety. I am planning to go back there for some wildlife fun in different season.…

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not only did they discuss the scenery, they talked about the importance of the land to their culture. We were very pleased with the services and have already made recommendations to others to take advantage of the tours that are offered.

To the crew at TNT, Apolline, Noel and Rea, thanks heaps for your assistance in showing up you wonderful homes. The Tuk trip was great and lunch at Grandmas Kitchen was excellent. The changing colors was what we came to see. No major wildlife, but that's how it goes. Rea's trip to the circle was excellent, great company, great commentary and driving (11.5 hours) The Mackenzie Delta tour was an add on as the flight did not go. It was a great afternoon and evening to see the remote delta and the harsh way of life for the locals. Only one (1) improvement opportunity - please wash the windows at the start of the trip!!!!! Thanks heaps for all your efforts.…
