Beautiful Sunset views over Lake Huron
Pioneer Park is very nice spot and provides beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy an afternoon/evening or picnic when in Bayfield. Came here twice in one day - first just to enjoy a takeout lunch. 2nd time was even better since we got to see a beautiful sunset over lake huron - pioneer park is probably one of the best spots to watch a sunset in Bayfield and maybe one of the better spots on the Lake Huron coastline. Worth visiting here just for amazing and beautiful sunset views.

Amazing views of Lake Huron
What a view of Lake Huron from Pioneer park, a must visit. The wooden staircase from Pioneer park takes you up close to Lake Huron. But best part is the view of vastness of Lake Huron from the Pioneer Park. Just superb blue waters and I am pretty sure that both sunrise and sunset would be amazing to view from here. When we were visiting a local suggested to come back in full winter as view from up is like the views at North Pole.

Nice Park overlooking Lake Huron
This nice park situated high above the lake with stairs going down to the beach area. Picnik tables and well treed for shade. We went down and dipped our feet in the water and planned to come back for a swim but circumstances stopped that from happening. We plan to visit again sometime for sure!

Best views!

Quick stop to stretch our legs after our drive to Bayfield. Free parking.
The views are beautiful! It was a very windy day so we didn't see any boats but you could see for what seemed like miles. The different shades of blues were gorgeous!

Beautiful Sunset views over Lake Huron

Pioneer Park is very nice spot and provides beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy an afternoon/evening or picnic when in Bayfield.
Came here twice in one day - first just to enjoy a takeout lunch.

2nd time was even better since we got to see a beautiful sunset over lake huron - pioneer park is probably one of the best spots to watch a sunset in Bayfield and maybe one of the better spots on the Lake Huron coastline.
Worth visiting here just for amazing and beautiful sunset views.

Swimmable beach

The turquoise water reminded me of the Caribbean. It's a small beach that doesn't get very busy. The waves were quite high but still swimmable. An easy 2 hour drive from Toronto.

Amazing sunset! A must!

This Park is an amazing place to see the sunset. Highlight of trip! Pioneer Park was a wonderful spot to watch the sunset and/or sunrise. It was a very memorable moment and a great place for couples and families alike.

Best Place to View the Sunset

Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy the sunset from this park. Easily the best spot in the area to enjoy the view over Lake Huron.
