We were looking to share a new experience with our friends, two couples, from Toronto. I was worried because two in our group are Italian and what can you teach an Italian Nona about cooking. Angelo did not disappoint! I had been to a couple of classes but this Neapolitan tasting course exceeded my expectations. We had a lively afternoon and no detail was left to chance. We were a group of 10 people for the Venetian dinner, it was an amazing experience. Angelo took the time to explain things and involve all 10 of us in the preparing and cooking process. He is extremely proud of his Italian heritage and is very passionate about cooking. The meal was a 5 course meal, it was a phenomenal. He paired every course with a different Italian wine. Throughout the dinner he also played a song using his guitar and had 2 of us use instruments with him. This is a great little gem in Picton and is something which is worth discovering. We are already looking to rebook for a Tuscon dinner.…

If you want to do something a bit out of the ordinary, book the tasting menu at Angelo Bean with some good friends. It's fabulous and fun. And you get to make some pasta! It's a really fun time with lots of lively conversation. And each course is served with a wine suited to that course. The food is all locally sourced, is of the highest quality and is authentic Italian! And don't forget to ask Angelo to bring out his guitar and he will serenade you with some songs from Italy. It's an experience you will not forget.…
