We had the pleasure of Gilles as our tour guide. His love of wine and passion for the history and future of Prince Edward county truly made the experience exceptional. My husband and I were celebrating our 17th anniversary and we chose to visit the county and do wine tastings. Gilles was right on time. He drove us through Wellington, Bloomfield and Hillier. We started at Rose Hall Run. The wines here were a great range of red, white sparkling and dessert wines. The atmosphere here was our favourite. The son of the winemaker walked us through our experience while Gilles spoke of his favourites from their collection. He taught us the proper technique to tasting wines and enjoying them. He then took us to Harwood estates where they offered us 4 wines and food pairings. Each food complemented each wine perfectly. Definitely helped us to decide which wine and food to purchase from their tasting room. Gilles taught us the nose and legs of the wine and gave us fun quizzes throughout the tour. We ended our day at sugarbush. The wines here are unique and unlike any that we had tasted earlier on the tour. The property is beautiful even in the off season. Everywhere we went everyone loved Gilles. Even after the tour was over and we went to dinner in our own the staff at the Public House in Bloomfield raved about Gilles. We definitely recommend requesting him as your guide. The vehicle was very clear and comfortable too.

We booked this for a weekend trip to PEC to celebrate my parents' 80th and 83rd birthdays. PEC Wine Tours and Cathie our tour guide hit it out of the park. I had asked if the tour would be suitable for my dad with limited mobility and they not only assured me why specifically it would, but got back in touch to ask which building we were staying at at our hotel so they could pick us up right at the door. The limo was comfortable and Cathie was friendly, warm, funny and was ready for every eventuality. We had a wonderful time and would book this company again in a heartbeat.

Just had the most amazing day with Cathie. Six of us for my parents 80th and 83rd birthdays. Perfectly planned. All requests met. Say yes to the optional charcuterie tray. It’s actual Food Porn!

A group of 5 couples toured Prince Edward County on one of the last days of "Summer" in Ontario. Our driver & tour guide Gilles picked us up on time and took us to a variety of stops that included a Cidery, a Vineyard, an Art Gallery and a Distillery. It was a wonderful afternoon with great friends. Gilles provided us with many interesting insights of the history of "The County"

Our tour was Amazing! Wineries were amazing but Gilles, our guide……More than Amazing!! We learned a lot about the wineries in the area as well as some historical sites along the way. Highly recommend PEC Wine Tours and if you can request your guide, request Gilles!!!!

The experience was amazing and the tour guide, Gilles, was extremely knowledgeable and added even more to our experience. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if going with Gilles

Very knowledgeable driver Gilles and a nice selection of wineries. My first wine trip, and the same for my wife. We appreciated the subtle knowledge that Gilles passed on to us. Made us appreciate wine more. Thank you for the awesome tour, Gilles.

Our wine tour was lots of fun! We enjoyed trying different types of wine and learning about the history of the county. The wineries selected were varied and allowed us to enjoy a nice range of wines. We loved our tour guide Gilles, he was very knowledgeable about wine tasting and about the area. Would recommend!

My friend and I took an afternoon wine tour to 3 wineries. Our guide Gilles was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and humorous. He added to information given by the hosts at each of the wineries and also, as we were ahead of schedule for the last winery, took a short side trip to show us the sandbanks. I would recommend any tour with Gilles leading the way.

I worked with PEC wine tours to plan a Bachelorette party. Everyone was great to work with when planning the itinerary - quick responses and very helpful. Rather than sitting for lunch at one of the wineries, we opted for the custom individual charcuterie boxes, which were perfect and accommodated different dietary restrictions.
Raymon, our guide for the day, was incredible. He was gracious enough to take pictures, had the perfect frequency of checking in without overstaying. He even added a visit to a local alpaca farm!
The experience was so special and I will happily book again in the future.

Hi. A friend and I would love to visit the Prince Edward County area in August for a girlfriend get away. We would like to stay somewhere for a couple of nights and include a wine tour. Do wine tours pick you up at your hotel too? Not sure where to stay and what tour company? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at The Waring House in October. There were 12 of us. We were there only overnight but it was very good accommodation and we had breakfast and dinner included. A bit pricey for the time of year but okay. We had arranged a vineyard tour with Sandbanks Tours and they picked us up at the hotel. They were very good with the driver taking us to 5 different vineyards for tastings and some had goodies. The driver was very knowledgeable about the area and she was very friendly and treated us great.

Harwood was great they have a great bordeau style wine (Admirals blend, VQA Niagara Peninsula) and a nice Gamay. Chadsey's Cairns had a great Pinot Noir (VQA Prince Edward County) and a verry special sparkling red, something to try!
