Escorted Tours For The Young-At-Heart CanXplore provides escorted small group tours designed for the young-at-heart to experience the culture, must-see attractions and hidden gems of each destination. Our escorted tours have a maximum of 22-24 guests, which will offer our guests a more personalized travel experience. On our small group tours, guests will get to know each other better, spend more time with the Tour Director, and spend less time waiting at hotels, restaurants, comfort stops and getting on and off the coach.

A special thank you to Cathy for arranging the wine tour Her commentary was very informative and we had fun guessing the answers to the quiz. This is my 2nd tour with Cathy. I would highly recommend future travel with Cathy

We had such a wonderful time on this wine tour and the weather was perfect! Cathy is an awesome tour guide and planned a terrific day for us. From fun trivia games to delicious wines to yummy food, this tour had it all. I would highly recommend joining Cathy on her next tour!

What a fun day!! Cathy keeps everything running like clockwork yet we never felt rushed! Informative and entertaining! A wonderful "ladies' day out" for us, although anyone who enjoys learning about wine and wineries would enjoy it!

It was a wonderful trip. Cathy is knowledgeable and experienced. She kept us very busy with tours and explanations. We loved the boat tours (4) and visiting Gros Morne National Park.

Our tour guide, Cathy, is from Newfoundland so had all the local knowledge to put together a great visit, and had a lot of local information to pass on to us. She certainly managed to pack as many of the local attractions as possible into our ten-day trip. We loved the wild scenery and all the wildlife especially, but enjoyed the urban areas too. So glad we did this unforgettable trip.

A super fun filled tour!
SO many great experiences! Seeing puffins up close in Bonavista, whales, eagles, dolphins, a delicious lobster dinner, such scenic land and/ or water adventures every day, the Home Away stories in Gander, the happy music and local food of Newfoundland, the wonderful friendly people.
Cathy was our leader extraordinaire! Everyday was well planned, comfortable and fun. Cathy is THE BEST!

We had a wonderful 10 day trip and group tour of Newfoundland with CanXplore!!
Our Tour Director, Cathy was very professional and did an excellent job organizing the trip. She is very knowledgeable and informative and provided us with a very detailed itinerary. This was our first time visiting Newfoundland and we loved the small group tour experience. We would highly recommend this tour!!!

Stunning mountain ranges, charming fishing villages, puffins, dolphins, whales, jellybean houses...all these sights and more were part of a wonderful 10 days in Newfoundland. Tour Director Cathy was super organized and provided us with lots of information, supplemented by excellent local guides. I will never forget our day in Gander. I sampled the yummy chowder at every opportunity. I went home with a deep appreciation of the beauty of this province and the challenges facing its people.

I can’t pick one thing that wasn’t great. The whole experience was fabulous. I’ve never done an organized tour but will definitely do another one, Cathy nailed it and the experience was great. Fun filled packed days and a lot too see. I would never have seen any where near what we say. Great job and the other guests were great as well. Really liked the small group.

Everything was fabulous--the journey, the history (cod) the stops (Gros Morn, Gander), the scenery (Cape Spear) the lighthouses, the restaurants, the cruises, the entertainment (Anchors Aweigh). Cathy is so organized- I saw way more than if I had tried to organize on my own. Enjoyed my first small group tour experience with lovely people.
