This unique monument is located in Old Mill Park in Campbellford, ON now part of Trent Hills. This monument is a big attraction and a must when you visit the area. Be sure to get a selfie with the big Toonie right behind you... or must play with your distance and make it look small enough to fit in the... More

The Monument is fun to observe as is the entire park. Great for walking along the shore and great views of the city and bridge. There is a Tourist Office on site offering maps and suggestion. Close to many restaurants.

Unique photo opportunity basically in town. The tourist office is right beside the toonie and you are also at the lock along the river. Boats stop here at this park and stock up at the No Frills store. You can also walk across the street and buy an icecream. Campbellford is a great town with lots of places to walk... More

I come here often, very nice little spot, the water is nice to look at on clear sunny days, has a nice reflection to it. Very nice spot, the local township keep it very clear too.

Campbellford is lovely in the summertime and the giant townie and surrounding park area is a super place to watch the boats pass by or just sit a spell and enjoy an ice cream cone (purchased across the street).

Find a bigger, better toonie and I will retract this statement. Campbellford is lovely and quaint and provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Like blazing.

A visit won't take you more than 30 seconds. True it's nicely done and the park setting on the canal is pleasant but Tim Hortons just down the street offers more excitement . Hope I don't sound jaded because I'm a fan of roadside attractions but this one leaves me cold

It's a big toonie - not sure if we figured out the connection with campbellford and having a giant toonie in a park but there it was and my kid wanted to go check in out - warning though in a few years a nearby tree threatens to have it completely obscured so get there now before it's covered in...
