This outdoor sculptor park is a wonderful place to visit. The beautiful forest, peaceful paths, and gorgeous statues are a delight. Although located about 30 minutes outside of Ottawa by car, this is a site that I will recommend to anyone visiting the nation's capital. Definitely plan to return.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience visiting Humanics Sanctuary & Sculpture Park. The staff was very friendly and gave us lots of information. It is a very peaceful and unique experience. The sculptures are beautiful. It's definitely worthwhile to take some extra time to appreciate the sculptures and the environment. It's also a great place for a picnic.

The peacefulness. You can spend an hour or two or more just meandering along the forest paths. Take a picnic lunch. Relax.

Our small group spent a relaxing couple of hours meandering along the lovely path through the woods. It was a very peaceful, thought-provoking experience as we chatted about the sculptures that represented different religions and cultures. The sculptures of a horse, elephant and giraffe made from engine parts were fascinating. This park is definitely a unique experience. Thanks to the creator of the park and his staff and volunteers for a great day.

What a great park! The staff were very friendly and informative and the stroll through the park was delightful. The sculptures are fabulous… creative expressions of all the great religions. I will definitely be back. You can easily walk the path in less than an hour but it can take much longer if you take the time to appreciate and read about each sculpture (a map and book is provided). There are hills in the terrain.

Upon arrival at the Humanics Institute we were greeted by very welcoming staff. They explained both the the physical layout and concepts behind the sculptures and trails.

Esther was especially helpful, and she went out of her way to address all of our questions.

This is a peaceful place to enjoy a relaxing walk in the woods.

LOVED the visit to this hidden gem. Had a gorgeous afternoon last Sunday and WOW, what a wonderful experience. Just loved the entire forest bath and connection to the historical beauty in statues along a nine-acre walk through the woods. Love that The Humanics Institute strives to promote the following 3 principles: Oneness, Equality and Interconnection. The descriptions beside the sculptures and the thought-provoking questions asked along the way was so very grounding and makes you really stop and think about how all religious and cultural groups are all essentially connected with shared values. While they close over the winter as they have to wrap the sculptures to protect them, I am looking forward to coming back for a visit again soon and just shared a must visit on facebook too!

Enjoyed this outing in my area. Nice trail and amazing sculpture’s and some learning of different beliefs. The whole experience was worth it. Seems that their is future growth of this site. Read about it on the website. Cumberland Village is close by if you want a full day of activities.

Wonderful place to be among among art and nature. We went in late August in the mid-afternoon and there were no bugs to pester us! Was a lot larger than I expected and there is immense potential for growth. There are also group activities scheduled on weekends, so this is a place where you can visit regularly as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern living.
As other reviewers mentioned some of the trails are rather steep, so some of the sculptures and trails might be inaccessible if you have mobility issues.
Looking forward to visiting this place again!

What a wonderful experience. A beautiful park with intriguing sculptures - showcasing how all the religions of the world basically hold the same beliefs…all people are worthy, all roads lead to goodness.. good thoughts, good words, good deeds! Lovely concept… except for the humans that get in the way. 😂
Some sculptures are two-sided, showing one image on the front and another focus on the back. Delightful.
Over the years, the collection will only grow and become more and more intriguing.
The park is thoughtfully planned out … all the sculptures are snuggled into nature, bonding with it, not competing. A nice stroll through shaded trees and a small creek.
There are a couple of picnic tables, perfect for a lunch or snack.
Go and see this… you won’t be disappointed.
