The Voyageur Park is an interesting stop for a break, and let the dog out. Brings back memories of better days gone by in the logging and forest industry. Not exactly welcoming in inclement weather or winter.

If you do not mind climbing lots of grated stairs, you will get a great view of both Fort Frances and International Falls. The River is beautiful!

You can climb the Tower or tour the Hallet on Fort Frances waterfront. The Tower is the best place to see great views of Fort Frances and Rainy Lake. The hike requires good footwear but isn't too far up for anyone to go.
