The Barnum house is never open .but only once a year . The Barnum house is a beautiful in Grafton Ontario it should be open at least for part of summer or even civic holidays . They could rent the back part of the building for offices for income to maintain staffing the museum so it could open to public. Keep our Ontario Heritage alive .

Although the house is no longer operating at a museum, it is well worth a visit in order to admire the interior architectural detail which is finely detailed and delicately scaled. Neo-classical houses were inspired by the work of the renowned British architects Robert and James Adam. The house is now under the stewardship of the Cobourg/E.Northumberland branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario. If you contact the Conservancy, one of their members will open the house for you.
