Camping close by, my husband and I went with friends for a charcuterie board, wine tasting afternoon yesterday. We were welcome by Lucas, the owner. Our experience was amazing, he was the most cordial, friendly host. He went out of his way to answer all our questions, gave us a tour of the operation and the orchard. The charcuterie was beautifully presented and delicious. This humble family owned and operated business is an exemplary spot to experience a personal, intimate wine tasting experience. I highly recommend a visit and can’t wait to go back next time we are in town.

I must first say a thank you to Lucas for being such a great host. It was obvious he really cared that I had a good experience there, and this just shown through his hospitality. Including to my dog!

All the wines were delicious — and I have to add a special note for their rosé. It was different and unique, like nothing I have ever had before. Likewise, the Cab Franc was a standout. One of the best I’ve had.

The winery has a super cozy vibe, which was helped even more by a family friend playing the piano in the large room where Lucas brought the wines I was tasting. I would add the Covid precautions they take were very much appreciated.

If you’re in SW Ontario, put this winery on your list. You’ll have a wonderful time, and walk out with a whole bunch of wine!

We have regular Zoom Happy Hours with friends and this week we included appetizers.
We ordered a charcuterie board and grabbed a bottle of wine and we were set.
This was such a good idea and absolutely delicious and everyone else on the Zoom was sorry we couldn't share.

Thanks to Lucas, Ginny and the team.

We stopped by this family-run winery mostly because it was “on our way” but we were sure glad we did! Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and personal service. Really, really good wines! What more could you ask for? Oh ya, a great little charcuterie board to go with the tastings. I know it’s at the eastern edge of all the little red dots when you google map wineries in Essex but this place should not be missed.

Stopped by on our way to Kingsville and so happy we did.
The lady who helped us was so sweet. Guided us on what to try and brought it out to us at our picnic table.
The wine was very good.

The wine however, is not good. I wasn’t impressed with the Riesling, Chardonnay, Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Pinot Noir. The only one that was palatable was the Pinot Noir. The nose on all of them was a huge turn off, some didn’t smell like wine. Not sure if the bottles we tasted were off, but overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Last year we celebrated at the Winery with tastings and purchases. This year we just purchased for our Canada Day. Delicious wines, lovely people and nice way to start the Canada Day celebrations. Different this year but now part of our traditions and supporting local.

Cheers.

We weren’t able to do the wine tour but the staff here are very accommodating in recommending wine selections and staying attentive to us when the winery was busy. They offer appetizer plates (we chose the meat and cheese) that are a great compliment to the wine tasting as well, which was freshly made while we sampled wines. Very relaxing and nicely priced wines. We look forward to visiting again!

Very nice place & awesome employees. The wine was great & we also order a couple cheese platters freshly made while we waited which were awesome. We will be back!

We started here and I'm glad we did, best wine I tasted all throughout this region. The winery is small and family owned and they have some lovely elegant wines. The reds drink beautifully. I love that they are so personal and welcoming. Do not miss this!!!
