The Orangeville Theatre was revamped with Trillium and government funds to a perfect venue for small productions. They encourage and produce young people’s theatre and local programs. Norm Foster plays are presented here and if you want a good laugh and sometimes a small tear, plan to attend. Small cast on a small stage with large talent and even bigger stories. Come here on a Sunday and they serve free DQ at intermission. Ice cream “Sundaes “

I took a guest to see the charming production of Norm Foster's 'Come Down from Up River' - and was delighted at the warm welcome, beautiful setting, and amazing play (catch it if there are still tickets left!). Didn't know that the theatre has a 'Sundae Sunday' - where they serve ice cream sundaes during intermission - a lovely touch. The theatre stands in the centre of a charming town, with historic buildings, boutiques, bakeries etc. I was really impressed with the calibre of performance, and the intimacy of seeing live theatre in a very small theatre. I'll be back.

Nice building with lots of character in Orangeville. Off of the main strip. Might have to look around for parking as street is busy and mostly street only parking.

I lpve Theatre Orangeville! The shows are always top notch and staff and volunteers are so helpful. We attended the last day of Krista DaSilva's Where You Are. What a wonderful ending to the 25th season at this wonderful venue. We drive 1 1/2 hours to get there but it's worth the drive every time. Hats off to Artistic Director David Nairn. If you haven't been there yet make it a priority. The 26th season is on their website and it looks like another great one.

Picked a great sunny day to attend Off the Grid world premiere at Theatre Orangeville....
What a treat...just amazing theatre provided in a small town...makes the hours drive seem like nothing...This play touched all the emotions...romance, ongoing humour throughout the whole play right to the very end, plus added sincerity of events that occur in everyone’s life...The acting was phenomenal....and even cracked the actors up at one point...The subtle twists and turns had us guessing what was next....the time just flew by... Don’t think about whether you should go...do it...right now...buy your ticket...a must see before its run is done in scenic downtown Orangeville!!!

Across the Pond is a very professional production with LOTS of live British Invasion music and information. With one intermission, the lively music both vocal and instrumental goes on non-stop. The musicians are all from Ontario and present a very casual, but highly-polished performance.
It's super to see Canadian talent of this high calibre. Go. See it!

Comfortable seating, no bad seats as stage is visible to all. Good acoustics. Friendly staff and great venues. Saw Across the Pond, the British Invasion and thouroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely return for future productions. Very reasonable. Parking across the street or in back of Opera Hall.

I have only seen one production here, but would definitely go again! It is a rustic and beautiful old theatre. Love the ambiance, love the show I saw.
