A great little museum full of information. A must see if it is your first visit to Perth. Just the right size without brain overload. An awful lot of history in Perth. A great place to consider to move to. Very Quaint with lots to do.

Staff are friendly, well informed and interested in helping you. We didn't stay long, but clearly the work of many dedicated individuals, especially on the 3rd floor with items that illustrate Perth and Lanark County history - geology samples are well documented. Do pick up the 2016 publication "Perth Remembered" as well as the self guided architectural/historical walking tour booklet... More

I am a geologist and paleontologist who has literally traveled the world looking at natural history exhibits. Therefore, I was quite pleasantly surprised that there was a geological exhibit literally hidden away on the top floor of this historical museum. It was a bright, well-light, modern glass case exhibit that would rival other exhibits that I have seen in universities... More

Few floors of really interesting history of the area. Worth the visit with the family. Small gift shop and courtyard are nice too.

Well appointed small house-based museum illustrates aspects of European life in the area, includes an eclectic geology display, has a nice gift (and information) store, and a small display describing Canada's last duel. Good overview. Friendly staff. Admission by donation.

Filled with local history and collectables from days of old. Some rooms are accessible others are roped off. Good feeling of the Victorian era of Perth.

I had some "free" time to snoop around and found this to be a Gem in Perth. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the place. They weren't too busy that day, so I almost had a personal guided tour!! The items in the museum are not cluttered, and well displayed. Will go back again, and bring the "girls"

Perth Museum is a lovely little place; so much interesting history, housed in a real house with rooms set out to display artefacts.
