The staff is helpful and the museum well-crafted for a tour of local history. They have done a fine job curating the exhibits and the museum is not so large that you feel overwhelmed.

Went there thinking its a normal museum but found a room full of interesting items belonging to a WW1 veteran. The letters and notes written by the veteran give you a personal insight of what he saw and experienced. Before we knew it, we were...More

The beautifully preserved house at the front and the exhibit space at the back combine to provide a great amount of information about early days in the Perth area -- and the admission is free.

Few floors of really interesting history of the area. Worth the visit with the family. Small gift shop and courtyard are nice too.

Well appointed small house-based museum illustrates aspects of European life in the area, includes an eclectic geology display, has a nice gift (and information) store, and a small display describing Canada's last duel. Good overview. Friendly staff. Admission by donation.
