in the heart of Port Colborne, this small, but unique gallery is a must see. Local artists, potters, carvers of renown, jewelry and so much more. Always changing.
The owner is experienced and talkative.
Great place for a rainy day.

Os by the Water is a unique, vibrant gallery in the heart of Niagra Region's Port Colbourne. The most impactful part of Os's aside from the breath taking pieces art lovers will find there, is the owner, Peggy O'Hara. Peggy is knowledgeable, passionate, and generous. Anyone looking to take in some culture and an "awesome vibe" should seek out Peggy and her gallery. I truly enjoyed meeting her and will return.

The Gallery views the canal by the downtown bridge and you may even see a ship go by.
Inside is an interesting, happy, creative, place and has distinctive art in many mediums. Great vib, great conversations, and some very cool, different items. Various artists display here, so if you are in Niagara this would be a great place to visit.

Port Colborne really does have everything you could need, including a fantastic little art gallery. There are so many local artists, and I'm really happy to see that they're being represented in a proper studio. Today was my first visit, but I will be back!

It's worth the time to explore O's by the Water. We discovered beautiful hand-made works of art by local artists. Each piece of art comes with a background story of the artist and his/her work told by the gallery owner. Very impressive!
The gallery is a lovely place to browse and enjoy creative workmanship. Prices are reasonable and fit every budget. We adored the little the birds! Everythign in that little Gallery, even the front entrance door, was amazing!
Will certainly visit again when in the area.

We stumbled upon this gallery a few years ago while in Port Colborne for Canal Days. We met Peggy, the proprietor and ended up staying for a good hour or more and have purchased a few watercolours and other interesting pieces by local artists for our home. Her knowledge of both the works and the artists, makes the experience so much more exciting. Each time we come in, it's like we've been friends forever! always a big welcome. There are all sorts of interesting pieces to browse and pricing at many levels, so you don't have to be intimidated to visit the gallery. It is cash or cheque, so be prepared, as there is no credit or debit. Between the artwork and Peggy engaging the customers, this is an experience that should not be missed when you are in Port,

I walked into the gallery and was greeted by a cheerful owner who was very helpful. All of the artists in the gallery are from the Niagara area, and everything is an original work of art -- no prints. There is everything from sculpture to variety of paintings in different mediums. There is a wide variety of art styles and some real gems for the collector of local art.

This is a must stop for art lovers looking for art from the Niagara area. This is worth visiting.
