Love walking the dogs down the trail! BONUS: The Lock Wood Fired Pizza is steps away from the trail as is many other cool small business and the downtown area

A paved path between Fort Erie and Port Colborne that makes cycling a relatively long distance easy. Not always a view of the water but nice to be car-free as a cyclist.

I like the Friendship Trail. We can walk fast or small.

Some take their bicycle.

It is great for walking. I like it!

At the same times, we can see different items to see like hydro and way more!

A must see!

This long bike trail is perfect for the easy run, solo or with a group. Not challenge at all, just beautiful scenery along the way.

We found the part of the Friendship Trail that we walked on in Fort Erie near the Peace Bridge. We walked up to and under the bridge and that was a great experience. It's a lovely paved trail through areas of lush trees, grasses and flowers. We walked along the Niagara River and were surprised by its very active and strong tide. The breeze coming off of the water was lovely. You can also see Buffalo, NY across the river from where we were standing in Fort Erie. The trail is dog friendly so our guy loved the walk too. Not far from where we were (across the street) there is Mather Park and Arches with lots of beautiful flowers. There is free parking in this area. It's a great place to walk and unwind.

We cycled this trail last week as part of our 3-day trip on The Niagara Peninsula Loop. Stayed overnight in Port Colborne before continuing up the Welland Canal trail. Trail is mostly flat, paved and well maintained. Well marked road crossings. Trail goes through (or very close to) some small towns with restaurants, etc.

A great trail for beginners or the more seasoned cyclists. Nature has been conserved and be prepared to see small garter snakes sunning on the trail, or frogs hopping around. Everyone using the trail seemed respectful and although it is long (24 km), it was very easy.

Awesome bike trail. Beautiful views of waterways and woods. Biked from peace bridge area to crystal beach. Highly recommendable for novice to experts. Hopefully doing it again soon.

It was a lovely ride with smooth, well maintained pavement and trimmed landscaping. It is quite flat and straight making for a pretty easy ride with well marked street crossing. Beautiful place to ride and I will definitely be back

We road on The Friendship Trail from Ridgeway to Port Colborne. It is a wonderfully maintained, flat, paved trail. Easy ride!
