Port Colborne Promenade. What a great little city to be in. Love West Street and all it has to offer there from the Canal side Restaurant where you can site for lunch or dinner and see the ships going out to the lake or coming into the locks. Great place to get the biggest scoop of Ice-cream after your lunch or dinner. Terrific Shops all along West Street. Not to mention Canal Days coming first week of Aug where you can stroll down the closed off West street and experience all that Port Colborne has to offer. Or take a walk to HH Knoll Park where you might see a fishing derby and they just might catch the big one!! any area of Port Colborne is wonderful and it's worth going to.

I like the Port Colborne Port Promenade.
I like all the flowers.
The lake is attractive.
Workers were working.
We can see boats entering in the harbor.
Lots of people walk here because it is attractive
A must see!

Port Colborne seems to be something of a backwater these days but the views of the canal are well worth the visit. It may take a wait for a ship to pass through but when it does, the sight of the lift bridge at Clarence Street opening is fascinating. Lock 8 is well worth a visit as well.

Told to leave the city streets during the festival because I had my dog with me. Some people were permitted with dogs others weren't.
Went to the Beach...could not get in.
A beach where only locals can frequent and some outsiders for a fee of $50.
Not an inclusive town at all.
More welcoming places to visit in Southern Ontario

Fun for the whole family. Lots of walking and visiting the various ships in the harbor. Watching the locks down the pike going thru the canal. Good parking for everyone. Can fish in some places. Go to the market which is close by.

Lovely walking along this promenade and checking out the cute different shops and places to eat was awesome! We stayed at the Talwood Manor B&B right in Port Colborne. 5* B&B, absolutely fantastic! Food, Accommodations, Location amazing! Check out the Talwood Manor B&B reasonably priced, great breakfast, lovely owner Judith, warm and welcoming. Felt like we were good friends.

Port Colborne is a quaint and friendly little city with a lot of friendly citizens. It has a lot of character and spice and variety in restaurants. Watching the ship go through the canal is always amazing.

A great promenade with lots of eateries on one side. A great way to relax after a meal or a snack. The construction at the end should be over soon.

After enjoying lunch at Minor's Fisheries, we ambled along the promenade. We enjoyed watching some ships go through the canal...benches are strategically placed alongside the promenade in case you need a quick sit. Lovely area and I can see it being packed during summer season.
