4 of us (aged 60 to 90) visited on a sunny Wednesday, in mid-September. We were greeted by a very nice representative, who did a thorough Covid check and then gave a great explanation of where to see goats, alpacas, chickens, horses, and shiitake mushrooms! The whole farm is on top of a hill with a panoramic view of Northumberland County.
We had a delicious lunch in the cafe, purchased very fragrant goat soaps and alpaca insoles, took fun pixs and walked around. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant.

I took my 9 year old to the Alpaca Knuffle Shuffle for his birthday, and it was a really delightful experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and was good at wrangling both the people on the tour and the animals!

We got a real sweetheart of an alpaca, Bella, and my 9 year old was very thrilled to lead her around and even put his arm around her while she was walking. Some of the alpacas were not quite so sweet and well behaved -- be warned that they can spit and kick! But the tour guide was careful to match up personalities of the guests with the animals, so do be up front and tell them if you are a bit nervous and want a gentle one. We led the animals around the property and also got to visit the piggies at the end. Lots of time for fun alpaca selfies! It's two people to an alpaca so come with a friend of be ready to make one! For children, they used a double leash so I was always holding on to Bella at the same time as my son.

We have been to Haute Goat many times just to visit the animals and enjoy the beautiful views. It's a very welcoming place with a great vibe. Lovely snacks and lunches in the cafe. Highly recommended!

If you like to SMILE then this is the place for you! From the time you arrive and are warmly greeted by the owners, to meeting and hanging with the goats and the alpacas ( the stars of the show!) , to seeing how happy, knowledgable and passionate the staff are, not to mention the clever attention to detail of the entire operation …. In a word the experience is completely JOYFUL!
Trying the Goat Yoga is a must! The goats are curious, very interactive and hilarious …. Not to mention the instructor and the yoga itself is great ( if you can stop watching the goats long enough to pay attention!)
Lunch at the Screaming Goat Cafe was delicious … try the homemade Mac and Cheese!
Overall Haute Goat gets 2 big thumbs up from me!!!!

This was our first time ever booking with Airbnb and the experience was disappointing.
On the reservation there was no indication where to go for check in, so we went to the front door of the house that is shown in the listing. This is not where one checks in, as we kept knocking someone came to the door and indicated we needed to check in at the café.
The gentleman in the café was kind, wanted to give us a quick tour but we were pressed for time.
The trail through the yard and trees, to the suite in the light was ok, the steps not so great, but in the dark, with only a phone light, I was afraid I was going to fall. There was no lighting.
The listed patio is not a patio, but 2 chairs on a small deck outside of the door to the room. The yard was unkept and the garden overgrown with weeds.
The bathroom had no hand soap, so we ended up using the shampoo I brought along to clean our hands.
The head board of the bed banged the wall when either of us moved our sleeping position.
During the night, whenever someone upstairs flushed a toilet, the noise of water going to the sewer, in the bench along the wall, woke us up.
We were taken aback that there was no way to lock the door when leaving for the evening and no light by the door when we arrived in the dark.
After a bad night's sleep, we wandered around outside waiting for 9:30AM breakfast and for a coffee. On the upside, the chef is lovely, the breakfast and coffee were great.

Interesting place with goats, the main attraction, Llamas and horses on the property. While it was fun watching the goat move around, it is really expensive to join an activity.
Decent shop and snack bar.

My husband and I did an Alpaca Sleepover, and we had a great time! The staff we interacted with were very friendly, the Alpacas were super cute, and it was cool to be able to walk around the farm when no one else was there.

The cabin in the Alpaca enclosure is really cute and well decorated, it was nice and cozy for the two of us. But, be warned that this cabin is super small and definitely would not be suitable for more than 2 people.

The included breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment. My husband had the wrap and loved it. I had the banana bread french toast and found it very underwhelming, the portion was super small and not warm when served. The best part of my breakfast was taking a bite of my husband's wrap.

We overall enjoyed our stay and thought the farm was a beautiful place. If you're looking for a unique experience, this would definitely qualify!!

Experienced the Festive Market and stayed overnight (Yome sleepover). It boasts a serene adventure, filled with animal rendezvous. All human farm folk are truly warm and welcoming and accommodating despite the market interest influx/ furry moods. Would definitely recommend to those looking to experience a nature getaway and not to shy away from farm environments.

Lovely rural getaway for us city folks - the miniature goats are adorable and are very patient with everyone petting and cuddling them. Haute Goat employees are wonderful - obviously loving what they do (who wouldn't??) and eager to share goat information and answer questions. Nice little cafe and gift shop on site. A very relaxing and soul satisfying experience.

So happy we decided to visit Haute Goat for Family Day. Our breakfast at Screaming Goat Cafe was above our expectations, from the yogurt parfait to the real maple syrup for the french toast. Alicia and staff were excellent making sure all guests were satisfied. Debbie sure knows how to please her guests with the fun and adorable goats and their love of climbing on anyone who is willing. What a great day!!

Thank you Debbie and all staff at Haute Goat.
