Since 2013, under Artistic Director & General Manager Antonio Sarmiento the Capitol has won awards and recognition for embracing its historical status AND using innovative technologies in visual effects to create an enhanced live experience. Recent critically acclaimed stage productions utilizing these technologies include productions of “Disney’s Mary Poppins” and “Singin’ In The Rain”, “SNARL’D! The Rapunzel Panto” and our highly anticipated productions of “On Golden Pond”, “Crazy For You” and the global sensation “Mamma Mia!”.
