Nice collection. Includes lots of fossils found in the area... also First Peoples artifacts and local history. There's an archive wing for local research. The patio behind the building has lots of picnic tables that look out over a pretty pond. There are also two...More

Been here a couple times. This place is unique and for a small town has a big museum. It has variety and some displays change. Kids will like it and visitors won't be disappointed.

Been here a couple of times, I have brought the grandchildren, we learned a lot of history and how to make native jewellery. I've been to the archive section to do the Family Tree. The people are very helpful, pleasant.

The kids always look forward to a rainy day at the cottage because it means we get to visit the museum. They love the interactive exhibits and I love that my Annual Membership to the Waterloo Regional Museum gets us in for free.

We were there for about 45 minutes to an hour and felt like we saw everything. However, I think it would be nice outing for the kids as there were a few hands-on activities for the kids. There were nice students who demonstrated some of...More

Stopped by the museum this past weekend. I wasn't expecting such a gem. The museum is well laid out and flows easily. Although I was not there with children, it is very child friendly. There are of course artifacts protected in glass cabinets and cases...More
