We love visiting this museum with our kids , it is very interactive and engaging for toddlers and school aged kids. The young kids love the water table, trains and general store. The older ones liked the sound exhibit and decorating a bead.

This museum is definitely one of my favourite (from all I have seen). It’s local, modern and interactive. Great for family visit, even with a small children (ours are one and two years old). This place will give you a nice trip back into a local history which Bruce County is surprisingly rich of. Good idea for cold/rainy/winter days.

One cannot visit this Mecca for retirees without rubbing elbows with the blue-rinse set, and there’s no better venue than the Bruce County Playhouse located at this venue. For years we attend a play at the end of our stay in Sauble, and are always pleased to see the fine Toronto and local actors performing in farces and musicals that will appeal to all tastes. This year’s offering for us was ‘Nunsense,’ a take on the Sisterhood flicks, full of irreverent humour and clever and catchy songs which all and not just Catholics will find highly entertaining. This was a great way to end our holiday.

This is a great museum detailing the history of the Bruce Peninsula and surrounding areas. Each floor was very well laid out, although it was a bit confusing how to get from one floor or wing to another. The exhibits were well done, and interesting even if you don't read everything. I enjoyed learning about the first nations of this area. You can probably cover this pretty well in 1 to 1 1/2 hour.

Such an impressive museum that really focusses on the local culture and history of Bruce County. I check out the museum every couple of years and I always come away with new knowledge and appreciation for those who came before us and carved out a life in the area.
The exhibits are always thoughtfully done and the Museum keeps it fresh and interesting by changing a couple exhibits every year.

I slept in and rushed to the museum to see the animal gibberish exhibits, very interesting interactive displays of how animals communicate (^O^)/ even the visitor seats are animal themed: I took a selfie with a peacock bench (^_^)
Staff said there’s only 1/2 hr left so they didn’t charge me. I was really pleasantly surprised by such warm gesture to visitors, in this day and age. I placed a donation as a token of appreciation.
I always visit this little gem every time I’m in the area. Something nice hasn’t changed, so glad.
