The weather was hot. The water was still too cold to enjoy a swim. The boardwalk offered a pleasant way to spend some time on an afternoon.

Excellent stretch of beach. I can see this being very busy in peak summer months. The washroom at the south end was clean and well stocked.

During the summer I walk from Gerry's fries to the flag pole on High Street. From the boardwalk you can see the best sunsets in Canada. Watch the sun set over the lighthouse.

It's a good way to enjoy the beachfront in one of the larger beaches on the Huron coast (that I've found at least)

this walk offers a great view of Chantry Island and is also nice to walk through the dunes. It makes you fell you're at a Californian beach. Also, there are much better, quieter beaches along this walk (than Sauble or Port Elgin). About half way...More
