Nothing rare or unusual here, just another tourist trap with pricing to match, but great to browse and kill time, besides looking at over priced off shore made items is fun cheers

While killing time waiting for the ferry, I wandered into this lovely store. The selection of items is huge, and the prices very reasonable, i had to restrain myself! I was able to treat myself to a purse and some last minute gift items for friends.
(Note - I did not stay in the motel, I only visited the store. )

Nice variety and selection of souvenirs...mostly over-priced, but who can fault them for capitalizing on the tourist dollar? Not me!
BEST OF ALL tho' was the attached 'TIPI TAKE OUT' facility!
Great food, excellent staff working feverishly in a (easy to view) SPOTLESS kitchen.
Prices very reasonable; MUST recommend for a breakfast, sandwich, coffee...anything on their menu...then top it all off with 'hard' ice cream in a cone. As a place to kill time watching/waiting for your Chi Cheemaun ferry sailing, it can't be beaten!

Do not stay here. This place is a complete dump!!!!!

We booked ahead of time to stay here. We arrive at 10:00 pm after a long day on the road. When we got here they told us that they over booked our room!!! We had nowhere to go!

Very unfriendly management!

Don't stay here!!!

We had an hour to kill before the ferry arrived. The gift shop was a perfect place to browse and pick up some warm clothes. We had a coffee at the coffee shop attached to the gift shop and we could see the ferry as it came into the terminal. There was plenty of time to get to our vehicle.

This gift shop had a little bit of everything, some you have seen before but also some items you never saw before. The prices very very good and the lady working this shop was so very friendly and very helpful. Another great experience, this time in South Baymouth.

We arrived late in the afternoon for an overnight stop.
Everything was fully booked so we decided to take the motel.
The rooms where very out dated, the beds where horible and you can't get a descend sleep there.

The shop however is quite allright and sell some lovely home made sweets.

Browsing through the store on a visit to this town. The shop itself had many nicnacs to purchase but upon entering the store either the owner/employee were very unfriendly, not even a hello. Everyone has a bad day but when you are an owner/employee of a store which profits during the busy season sometimes a friendly hello or greeting upon entering your establishment can mean the difference between a purchase or someone leaving your store to go elsewhere.

The shop is big and has a good selection of knick knacks, souveniers, clothes, stuffed toys, stones and jewellery along with native works of art. It was fun poking around here while waiting for the ferry. I bought some fudge to take for the road.

While waiting for the Chi-Cheemaun we had to be in Baymouth an hour prior to departure. We pooked about in the Wigwam Gift Shop and then had a small bit to eat before boarding. Not much in this area so I think everyone taking the trip that day went into the gift shop.
