With the person who is 'hosting' the museum, it's a fun place to learn information about what this area was like over the hundred or more years. It makes the town even a nice place to visit when you know where it came from.

There are 5 museums in the county. Each deals with only 1 or 2 parts of local history. This one deals with the canning industry and the Quakers. It is informative without being overwhelming. Located right in the heart of Wellington it is easy to drop in and see entire collection in an hour or two.

Small (free) museum giving a little background on Wellington's history and the importance of the canning industry to the region. Very helpful and friendly staff - but then isn't everyone in Canada helpful and friendly!
