One of the best beaches around.

We go to Brackley Beach every time we come to the Island. There is lots of parking and it’s a great place for a walk or bike ride. There is a gift shop/canteen along with washrooms and changing rooms.

The beach itself is expansive and the sand is very fine. There were National Park staff there that taught us about dune formation and how not to destroy the dunes, and also what sea life can be found in the local waters.

An excellent beach that we prefer over Cavendish Beach due to the fact that the sand extends well into the water, whereas at Cavendish there are areas where there is hard sandstone under the water that you can step on and hurt your feet.

Awesome.

As always Brackley Beach is a slice of heaven on earth.
Due to Covid the crowds were non existent.
There is a lifeguard for one section and a wheelchair accessibility to the water.

Vacation

Lots of parking , change rooms are close to the beach with a place outside so you can rinse off the sand off , short walk across the road is the beach with life guards and swimming area that is roped off. Beach is clean and enough room to practice social distancing. Beach and water are so clean, definitely coming back

A Beautiful Beach

Great weather, not to crowded. A very nice family beach, even though we were there in jelly fish season!

Beautiful red sands beach

We happened upon this beach after driving up the coast of PEI. There was free public parking and we walked onto the beach. It was covered with beautiful rocks and shells that turned blue in the water.

So beautiful

We enjoyed this beach so much more than Cavendish beach. There are fewer people and the beach has plenty of room for everyone. The water is clear and there aren’t many rocks in the water to hurt yourself on.

Best beaches
Nov. 2019 • Friends
I may be biased because I am a born and raised Islander but in my opinion we have some of the best beaches in the world. Clear waters, sandy beaches, great and safe swimming and no litter. Being an island we have beaches all around us but I personally like Brackley. Long stretches of rock free areas, rest room station and an open sided building with a wood stove so you can be here 365 days a year. Just bring your own wood. These pictures I took were just last week so it is too cold to swim but perfect to enjoy our beautiful landscape. I will point out that you can only bring your dog to beaches in the national park in the off season. You are allowed to take your dog to any non park beach all year long. You can be at any point on PEI and still be within 15 miles from a shoreline. I cant imagine living anywhere else.

Hiking
Oct. 2019 • Solo
Hiking was excellent and scenery beautiful. Although the area had just been ravished by a hurricane, park rangers had already cleaned up a lot.
