The $8.50 per person was fair for how nice the beach was and I don't mind contributing to Parks Canada. Shaw's Beach and Brackley Beach are connected and you can walk to one from the other. We found prime parking right out front along the road by the boardwalk entrance to Shaw's Beach.

Excellent beach, very clean and nicely maintained by Parks Canada. The area has ample parking, washroom facilities and lifeguards on the beach. The water is shallow and you can walk out for 100 ft in some areas and the water is still only to your calves, thus very safe for children. Brackley Beach stretches out for a long way so there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The sand dunes are quite breathtaking. The sand is soft and a light red colour. We were there on a very hot day 🏖in August and it was a fantastic experience, it felt like we were in the Caribbean. If hot weather permits, go to Brackley Beach and enjoy this natural wonder in PEI.

Beautiful beach but this time we were there, it was quite busy and very windy there. It was hard to really enjoy ourselves this time given the cold wind. Even the lifeguards were all bundled up with their gear for cold conditions. Lots of parking (with EV charging stations). Washroom & change facilities available.

We came to this beach and it was very empty because it's a few days before the season starts. We found a lot of seaweed in the water, so we did not go swimming, and it was also low tide, but we did get in and walk around in water about 2 feet high and look for shells. The water was really cold, but refreshing, and the sand was very soft and nice on this beach.
It's 4.25 each to get in.

First time visiting here and the whole family loved it. Easy to park and easy to make your way to the beach thanks the ramps and ribbed mats to the beach area - perfect to roll your belongings. You can purchase snack and beverages (including alcohol) before you hit the beach. There are bathrooms and change rooms and an outdoor shower area to rinse off at the end of your stay. The beach itself is beautiful but there were tons of jelly fish that day we visited so just keep an eye out. Otherwise we had a great day!

We go to Brackley Beach every time we come to the Island. There is lots of parking and it’s a great place for a walk or bike ride. There is a gift shop/canteen along with washrooms and changing rooms.

The beach itself is expansive and the sand is very fine. There were National Park staff there that taught us about dune formation and how not to destroy the dunes, and also what sea life can be found in the local waters.

An excellent beach that we prefer over Cavendish Beach due to the fact that the sand extends well into the water, whereas at Cavendish there are areas where there is hard sandstone under the water that you can step on and hurt your feet.

Brackley beach is gorgeous and a bike path runs right next to it. I sat on the beach while my husband had a long ride on the bike path. As in all Canadian parks they had excellent, clean services, wonderful parking and easy access. Loved it!

Lots of parking , change rooms are close to the beach with a place outside so you can rinse off the sand off , short walk across the road is the beach with life guards and swimming area that is roped off. Beach is clean and enough room to practice social distancing. Beach and water are so clean, definitely coming back

This beach offers beautiful views, no matter which direction you turn. You can walk the shoreline, bike the pathways, or drive along the coast --- stopping to enjoy the ocean views. Path are very close to the beach in most locations. If you decide to drive through, there is a combo ticket for this park and the Green Gables park. For some reason, no one OFFERS that information. If you do not know in advance or do not ask the right question, you end up paying separately. Also, there are senior (65+) discounts, child (6-16) discounts, etc. A solo adult can do the scenic drive for about $3.90 CAD; senior $3.15 CAD. If you are visiting many parks, you may want to check out the Canadian Parks Pass ...."Parks Canada".

This beach is only 15 minutes form Charlottetown, making it very accessible. The swimming here is amazing and refreshing, but given that it's on the North shore, the water only begins to warm up in July. Plan to spend the whole day here, enjoying the beach. There are little restaurants nearby if you want to take a break for lunch. The Dunes is also a spectacular restaurant, art gallery and pottery studio just outside the national park - you won't regret stopping here for supper and a glass of wine on the way home.
