We had an amazing afternoon at Brackley Beach. It’s a beautiful, sandy beach. There are washrooms and outdoor showers to wash off the sand and salt water. There is plenty of parking as well. It was only about 30 minutes from Charlottetown. Bring a picnic lunch or there are a few takeouts in the area with fries, burgers, and things like that.

Loved this beach but unfortunately, we couldn't stay because it doesn't allow dogs. It was very shallow and was fun to walk out to the sand bars, although it may not be fun for children that have to walk over rocks and grass in the water up to their knees.

I went there thinking it was a public beach to take my toddler for a walk because we were in a road trip. I looked at the informó Tripadvisor but it didn’t say it was a provincial park. We paid 16 dollars to get in, you can walk for a few miles passing from Brackley beach to Shawn’s but in windy and not so hots days that’s all you can do.

We loved this beach!!! It was beautiful, the sand was soft, the beach was clear as can be and the sand all the way out was perfect. I swam. It was the coldest most refreshing swim I ever had. I loved it so much. We saw some jellyfish and crabs.

We came to this beach and it was very empty because it's a few days before the season starts. We found a lot of seaweed in the water, so we did not go swimming, and it was also low tide, but we did get in and walk around in water about 2 feet high and look for shells. The water was really cold, but refreshing, and the sand was very soft and nice on this beach.
It's 4.25 each to get in.

Brackley beaech is a gorgeous beach - we were lucky to see a red fox at the entrance, although we had to keep some distance just in case.

The beach is nice, is well maintained and has a decent size parking lot and facilities available nearby. Great place for walks/strolls and to spend a chill evening.

The $8.50 per person was fair for how nice the beach was and I don't mind contributing to Parks Canada. Shaw's Beach and Brackley Beach are connected and you can walk to one from the other. We found prime parking right out front along the road by the boardwalk entrance to Shaw's Beach.

Brackley beach is gorgeous and a bike path runs right next to it. I sat on the beach while my husband had a long ride on the bike path. As in all Canadian parks they had excellent, clean services, wonderful parking and easy access. Loved it!

Excellent beach, very clean and nicely maintained by Parks Canada. The area has ample parking, washroom facilities and lifeguards on the beach. The water is shallow and you can walk out for 100 ft in some areas and the water is still only to your calves, thus very safe for children. Brackley Beach stretches out for a long way so there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The sand dunes are quite breathtaking. The sand is soft and a light red colour. We were there on a very hot day 🏖in August and it was a fantastic experience, it felt like we were in the Caribbean. If hot weather permits, go to Brackley Beach and enjoy this natural wonder in PEI.
