The home was comfortable. The grounds were inviting and the trails were great for walking. Barns/buildings were available for viewing.

Lucy Maud Montgomery is one of my favourite authors. Fantastic experience to visit the “home”of her most famous character. I visited as a child and was happy to return with my own children. Must see if going to PEI!

It was worth the trip to Cavendish... nice to see the house and other buildings in the square. It was a little assembly line-ish as we had to go through the tiny house with lots of people following a rope line. The best part was...More

My wife was determined to visit this house whilst on PEI, so I dutifully came along. Well I had to, I was driving. If you’re into literature as she is, then it’s fascinating. She joined a group talk in English which included a tour of...More

For anyone who grew up reading LM Montgomery, this is a great stop. There are so many things to remind you of her stories! Get there early though as it gets VERY busy!

It was my fiancé’s dream to come to green gables and visit cavendish. We loved our visit to the green gables park and would recommend it to anyone who loves Anne with an E ;)

Yes it’s historical and Anne related but the focus on the history of it seems to be getting lost in commercialism. It wasn’t unreasonably priced but my children were free so that may have offset that feeling Yes there were historical characters wandering about for...More

For anyone who is an Anne fan we really enjoyed ourselves. The highlight was "Anne" who came over to greet us and frolic with us, couldn't get my camera quick enough. I'd suggest going early like we did, before the crowds. Even doing the home,...More

It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.
