First off, I'm a guy to that probably dropped my rating by 1 star. We were making a loop of PEI and my lady friend wanted to stop at Green Gables. She was very excited to see this as she was reading one of the...More

Anne never lived in this house. It belonged to cousins of the author. When people started coming to look for Green Gables of the Anne of Green Gables fame, they eventually turned it into an inn and then eventually it became only a tourist site....More

Maura Lee made our trip fun and informative. It was gray and drizzly but we did not care because her narration of the sites we saw was lively. I recommend this tour.

I've read three of the Anne of Green Gables books and found visiting the house and walking Lover's Lane to be very enjoyable. Picturing Anne in this setting was fun for me.

Stop and see the movie before going to the house. The house is where Anne stories took place. Obviously Anne is a fictional character, but you can use your imagination and place Anne and others right there. A gift shop is on site. Rest rooms...More

Having read a few of the Anne of Green Gables books this visit was a special treat. There were quite a few visitors on the day we came but I thought that was a small price to pay for the pleasure. We decided to wait...More

Rereading the first two of Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables books before taking this tour made the visit much more meaningful. I felt like Anne, her friends, Matthew and Marilla were old friends. We began the tour with a short orientation film. Then...More

From what was offered and what was charged does make sense to me! The collection of photos, memorabilia, and furnishings doesn't seem like the author's doing of collecting all that stuff! Did she have premonition that she'd be rich and famous at such an early...More

It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.
