We stopped to take some pictures and my sister to put her feet in the ocean and walk in the sand. Beautiful beach not busy this time of year

Beautiful beach. Great for families - shallow and lots of sandbars. Lots of beach to explore and beautiful dunes to view .

Water was a bit cool, but the sun and sand made up for it. Sadly we couldn't swim due to the rip tide, but wading at the shore was refreshing.

Enjoyed the views, the sand and the water on a recent visit in August. Beach is flat enough for sports and wide enough to accommodate a number of groups. A must see!

Kids had a great time swimming and playing on the beach. Lifeguards on duty till 6pm. Beach is beautiful. Spent the afternoon and evening here with 4 kids ranging 10 months-7 years old. Everyone had a great time.

We have been to many beaches, and I must say this one was a disappointment. Take my advice and go to North Rustico or numerous other beaches on the Island. Cavendish has a popular name, but was super rocky and a lot of jelly fish....More

Beach is beautiful, the facilities are clean. Great sunsets! Kids enjoyed beach-combing and swimming.

The sea was too dangerous to swim in so we went for a walk instead. Lots of walks can be undertaken, nice to walk in the woods near the beach. Very bracing weather today but we had a good time.

We walked along Cavendish Beach early in the morning (no one else around). It was windy but the water felt warm and the sand was soft and fine ;)
