We had golfed this course several times before, but will never go back again! They charged us the full rack rate today, but the course was in bad shape. We expected it to be dry, but well maintained. Not so much. Greens were ok, fairways dry and not well cut, and none of the fairway bunkers have been raked for weeks (and only a few around the greens had been raked). We have never seen bunkers with cart tracks in them. Starter was nice, but embarrassed when we told him how disappointed we were. Pro shop staff didn’t give a sh.... when we complained! We golfed Crowbush earlier in the week and it was lovely and about the same price. With all the other golf courses in PEI, there are lots of better choices.…

Was pretty unimpressed with a number of things at this course. The process for check in was frustrating everyone had to fill out a form for their cart and return their key which seemed pretty pre school. The club house was a disappointment as it was absurdly hot, I could not believe that there was no A/C at such an expensive course like this one. We had to have our post round drinks up the road at Lost Anchor. The beverage cart was no where to be seen until 11am...The course itself was great, some major changes need to be made by management...…

While it is no longer fashionable to build golf courses in national parks, I am sure glad that someone had the foresight to hire the great Stanley Thompson to build seven courses in six different provinces including Green Gables in PEI National Park. It's a very well designed course that has seen substantial changes over the years so its not the equal of Highlands Links in Cape Breton or Jasper in Alberta which are both top ten Canadian courses. It has gentle elevation changes consistent with PEI's terrain and includes some great water views on the back nine. Also on the front nine you go right by the iconic Green Gables house made famous by Anne of Green Gables. While this is not a real hard course, it's also no pushover. The greens are very tricky. Always a pleasure to play, particularly in the fall.…

I played this course in 2016 and it was fantastic so I was really looking forward to playing it again. I was disappointed in the condition of the Greens and the course in general. This has beautiful holes and it is a shame that it was not up to the standards I remember. There are other courses to play.…
