    Disappointing
After a 15 minute walk around the park, we saw everything. It’s a waste of money. There wasn’t anywhere to buy lunch, so we walked across the street to some restaurants that were all closed! We found the boardwalk which had a plethora of shops and restaurants instead. All the attractions are spread out, so you have to drive to each one. You couldn’t walk snd see everything. Quite disappointing and not user friendly. Glad we didn’t build our PEI trip around coming to Cavendish.

    Is What It Is
I’d you’re looking for Six Flags or Disney, you’ll be sorely disappointed. You’d spend a couple hours at most in this amusement park. They’re chronically short staffed or just not busy enough because you have to wait around for the staff to rotate there. Same for some of the small kid rides. Don’t bother with the handful of games there. No one wins. I didn’t see a single person walking around with a prize. We got there at a slow period but it still took forever to get in. All that being said, the 7 & 4 year old had a great experience.

    Mini Busch...
Like Busch Gardens but smaller. Mini golf was raging, bottled water at the canteen was on point. If you want to get flung around on some questionable metal things for an afternoon then this is a must-do unless there is literally anything else to do. Operators shirts were all faded otherwise would give 3 stars

Enjoyed a full day here with our little ones. Many rides were for kids only but ours were brave and rode without us and had a great time. Not many options for lunch so we left and came back. Park was clean.

Been coming here for years, and the experience has been deteriorating over the last 5 or 6 years. This time we arrived and purchased 3 braclets without looking around to see what was open and working, our mistake! Turns out their newest ride wasn't running yet, the drop ride was out of order, and the Cyclon roller coaster was only running one car, often with just two people in the car despite the line being 80 people long! We went back to the desk 10 minutes after getting there to ask for a refund but they absolutely refused. The manager admitted that the Cyclone only had one operator which was why it wasnt operating at full capacity, but wouldnt budge on thier policy. Basically we wasted over $114 because the only 3 rides we were interested in were not fully operational. I get not refunding the cost of a braclet if someone has been there for half an hour or more, but 10 minutes! Especially when your obviously not fully functional, then hiding behind policy! Won't be returning to Sandspit again, or any other Maratime "Fun" Group attraction.

We've come here every summer for the past few years. The kids love the roller coaster, the ferris wheel, the bumper cars and especially the bumper boats. The food is typical for this type of attraction, hotdogs, hamburgers and the like. In the past we have split up our visit and gone once during the day and then after dinner into the evening when all of the lights are on. We actually prefer going at dusk and enjoying ourselves in the evening.

$32 pp is a complete rip off. Our 5 yrs old is 48” tall so he was given an adult ticket but he is too scared to go on the adult rides and he gets turned around at the kids’ rides. The go karts are not included and the roller coaster was broken. If you’ve been to any decent amusement parks like six flags or Canada’s wonderland - don’t go here! We’re a family of 5, it costs us over $160, our kids didn’t like it and we had done everything we could do within an hour. We spoke to management and of course they can’t do anything etc. they said it has to do with the manufacturers and the insurance company but I find that hard to swallow. A 5 yrs old on an adult roller coaster should be more of an insurance concern than a child who hasn’t even started kindergarten riding kiddie rides. I was at an amusement park in Quebec in June and my 8 yrs old was turned around from the bumper scars because she wasn’t tall enough, but here, my 5 yrs old was allowed on the bumper cars. The insurance excuse doesn’t add up. This was the lowest part of our trip. In the words of my 8 and 10 yrs old - This place sucks!!

We had some time to kill, and saw this as we were passing by. Stopped in for some go-karts and bumper boats. Nice little amusement park. Especially like that you can either buy a day pass, or just a couple rides if you're making a quick stop (like we were).

My brother and I who are older and a bit of the heavy side went to Sandspit mainly for the bumper boats, but did end up going on the Roller coaster, bumper cars and bumper boats. FYI if you are a larger person the roller coaster only has one car with a larger seat belt to accommodate larger frames, so only my brother went as there was a big line. The bumper cars were fun, and so were the bumper boats. I did end up hurting myself on the bumper boats as the boat started floating away while I still had one foot on the dock, as a result I ended up hurting my knee. I was lucky though to have a nearby lady help me avoid falling into the water. I send a big thank you to her. That being said I did have a lot of fun on the bumper car/boats. After the boat incident though we left.

Went here with the family to play the mini putt. Mini putt is nothing to write home about but wasn’t bad. Access to grounds is free. We didn’t ride any rides but plenty of fun small rides ideal for younger kids (teens might be bored with it). Prices were fairly reasonable considering this is geared toward the tourist crowd. Good place to spend a few hours if you’re looking for change of pace from the beach or Anne of GG scene.
