Although all shops and restaurants, the building are historical and still quite interesting. A great little place to get away for a break from the rest of the Cavendish tourist scene.

Visiting PEI off season many places are naturally closed. This site was partly open, and we enjoyed walking around. I would love to revisit when it's fully open.

Avonlea is a charming gathering of shops and eateries in a mixture of historical and period correct newer construction. The gallery is the best shop in our opinion. A nice place to relax.
