cute place

Cute place to spend an afternoon. There are many little shops to see and purchase things from. We came here after visiting Green Gables.

Most of the attractions here were closed when we visited after Labor Day, but the charm of this little recreation was wonderful. It doesn't take long to wander through here, but well worth seeing for Anne of Green Gables fans.

The live local band was awesome! We had a blast!!! The short plays were doe with good actors and followed close to LM Mongomery's story.

The village itself was closed for the season, but the gift shop was still open and very inviting! Interesting items and priced reasonable! The salesperson was very helpful and friendly! Enjoyed the experience!

We stopped in to buy souvenirs and get some Cows ice cream. Several nice stores and a few food choices. Would have been better with a cast of characters walking around.

A couple real historical sites have been added to this village, but mostly are recreations. Smaller than expected, but found some great food there.

Avonlea village has changed since last visit, Now places to shop and to eat. Ample parking on site. Best part is the ceilidhs that take place throughout the tourist season; applicable fees of course. Attended the children's ceilidh in the church. Small fee to attend but well worth it, Performer is interactive and engages the children throughout the performance, A... More

Avonlea Village has apparently changed the last couple of years. What was most disappointing was that we purchased the Anne and Gilbert package which was advertised to come with tickets to the Avonlea Village Ceilidh that happens at night. When we picked up our tickets at the box office, the tickets we were given were for the Avonlea Village Shindig... More

Great if you want to browse the shops and eat. The church is lovely, and the story of its move interesting. we missed the Ceilidhs which might have made this better.

During our recent trip to PEI we were looking forward to spending the day at Avonlea Village, only to discover that it's been converted into restaurants! On a previous trip we enjoyed the experience of having 'Anne of Green Gables' come to life while vising Avonlea Village. It was always so much fun to interact with the characters (who were... More
