Lots of places to eat, and some nice shops too. Some great art in the gallery. We bought a piece to bring back home by Maurice Bernard which perfectly encapsulated a few of our favourite things from our trip (It was a painting of Rustico beach where the kids built sand castles, and had tidal pools in it where they found all kids of oysters, grabs and shrimp).

Great place for families while you are in the area. Food options are terrific. Placed in a period setting restaurants offer a wide selection of dining opportunities. Some re-purposed historic buildings bring new life to your experience. Very family friendly for all ages.

Try the beef brisket with beans it is amazing.

A shopping center set out in the houses meant to look like Avonlea. Not a must see, but a cute spot for a quick stop.

They claim it is the best place to eat. We disagree. Charmingly laid out tourist trap. underwhelmed by the food .

Loved this cute tourist area. Me and my boyfriend came here the evening we arrived to PEI to grab supper at Piatto (delicious btw) and then got ice cream at Cows (a must). We also picked up chocolates at the anne of green gables chocolate shop & stopped into the anne of green gables gift shop. If you’re a fan of the books like me, you must stop by to look around! It’s so nice to see how much thought was put into the architecture of this little area. I spent the evening telling my boyfriend about the significance of why Cows looks like a train station! Loved it here :)

We went in mid June and only a couple of businesses were open. This was quite disappointing. It was nice to do a quick walk around but really wasn’t worth going to

Very nice town, not too many people. However, there are only a few shops open, and there really wasn’t much to do. We walked around for about 30 minutes and then left because we had seen everything.

We went to the Pizza restaurant. Despite a line up the staff was very pleasant and efficient. The pizza was tasty but could have had more sauce.

I think this was really cute but there isn’t much here besides a few shops and a bunch of restaurants. Unfortunately, we ate just before going so the restaurants didn’t matter much to us. Didn’t take long to see it all (under 20-30 mins).

Cute buildings, a Cows ice cream and an Anne of Gree Gables store. A few different restaurants. Very small area to walk around.

Lots of parking, a few gift shops and that is pretty much it. Just a small shopping area.
