Beautiful spot
Sep. 2019
We visited a short time after Dorian knocked down many trees on PEI including these grounds. But the apple tree Lucy Maud Montgomery saw is still standing! The DVD set they sold was almost twice the cost of buying it on Amazon.com

Beautifully kept
Sep. 2019 • Solo
I came alone and a young man at the counter was very helpful and provided excellent service. Although Hurricane Dorian had just come through, the site was in excellent shape with the sites maintained to a great standard. I am glad maintaining this part of Canada's history is being kept by such a diligent family.

Deceptive—should be shut down
Sep. 2019
Be forewarned. They have misleading signs to trick visitors into wandering onto their property and then they will try to charge you for doing so. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away. There is little to see but the stone foundation of an old house. Extremely disappointing.

Learn some history from relatives
Aug. 2019
Some of the relatives of the Anne of Green Gables run this place, so you can get more details on the history. The original house for the grandparents of the author is no longer there, only the stone foundation. They should rebuild a replica of said house for the best experience. There is a small gift shop of mainly the books from the author.

Interesting Site
Sep. 2019
Nice to see in addition to Anne of Green Gables Site. Thought the entry price was a little high for what there is there. Really not tons to see - but - it is moving to actually see where LM lived

Great for all ages

Great spot to stop and learn more about Lucy Maud Montgomery. The young man at the site was very knowledgeable and showed great interest in what he does. The site is excellent for all ages and is short enough for children not to lose interest! Lovely spot :)

See before Green Gables house
Aug. 2019 • Couples
We went here before the AGG house to get some history from a relative of author LMM at the bookstore. She lead a bit of a tragic life. There is a nice path around the grounds with signs explaining things. Then we walked the haunted wood path to the AGG house and left our car here, then walked back.

Not really anything.

It's a little book shop on the land the used to have the house where L.M. Montgomery lived with her Aunt and Uncle. There is an entrance fee. Best if you go to the National Park site.

Great Place to Stop
Jun. 2019
This is a wonderful place to stop. The staff are so knowledgeable and you will learn a lot of new things you usually don't hear anywhere else. It has buildings and a lovely little walking trail through the woods.

This is a good place if you want to learn about LM Montgomery. Doesn't take long and I found it very useful.
