About
Recognized by Golf Digest as Canada's Best New Course in 1994. Overlooking the north shore dunes of PEI, Crowbush continues to enthrall all those that take the challenge to conquer one of North America's very best. How can it get better than a Golf Digest five star rating? Undulating fairways, water holes with a wisp of wind, pot bunkers and challenging greens all come together to provide you with an experience not to be forgotten. Truly an unbelievable combination of nature and imagination. Of all the courses that are considered a "must play", Crowbush is certainly one of them. If you can tame the 6,903 yards at the Links, you should be able to play well anywhere. Rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest Places to Play, which raves, "Outstanding, plan your next vacation around it". SCORE Golf Magazine rated Crowbush in the Top 2 Best Value Golf Courses in Canada. The Links at Crowbush Cove is situated around the dunes on the north shore of PEI and is located at the Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort on Route 350, off Route #2 near Morell. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to Charlottetown.

Sept 2021
The course is in great shape but the service was aweful! My buddy and I played there Sept 30th 2021 and I have to admit, it was the worst service ever all around. The lady in the pro shop had zero personality and you would expect more from a course of this caliber. Then we had a bite to eat before our round. I had ordered a burger with onion rings instead of fries and my buddy oredered the same burger with just fries. The onion rings were burned and I told our waitress about it. She asked if I wanted something else instead, to which I told no, since we were teeing off in a few minutes. I was charged full price for just a burger. She said she didn't charge me for the onion rings... But I still paid the full amount like my buddy who had a burger and fries?? Disappointing.
Then we were off to the first tee. We were paired up with 2 players. One was a young gentleman with his girlfriend who was a spectator and the other was an 8/9 year old kid with both parents who were also spectators. To my surprise the little boy couldn't golf at all and was slowing us down after the first hole. I had to call the proshop to let them know. We were 7 people on one hole with 3 carts. I also had to tell the kid to be quiet, when to hit, etc... The parents had no idea of golf ethiquet.
The group behind us were hitting into us because we had to wait for the kid to catch up every hole. It became very frustrating. We were told after 3 holes that the boy usually plays only 5 holes. But it was still not fun for anyone who pays money to play on one of the nicest course on PEI.
I did write to Golf PEI and to the manager and no one ever got back to me. Again, bad service.
So if you come to PEI, there are better courses to play where the service will make you go back....but not this one. :(

If you want to golf or have access to a great beach, this is the place for you. But...our arrival felt like a bit of an inconvenience to the front counter, our cabin accommodations were clean but dated, tired and very in need of a make over...saggy couches, rusty doors, chipped paint, scuffed up walls and non functioning wi-fi. Food at the clubhouse was great. Overall...sorry, not a 5 star IMHO.

It a good golf course but not amazing. Not a link golf as name suggests. One hole near the ocean and its not in play. Strange that there is no collar around greens, straight to rough. 5 hour plus is a turn off too.

One of my best friends borrowed a couple of my clubs for a PEI golf trip. He was there to celebrate another friend's 50th birthday. While having dinner at Crowbush Cove, after a round of golf, someone stole his clubs, including the ones i loaned him. I really felt for him when he got back from the trip and had to explain what had happened. To say he was distraught is an understatement. That was a month ago and he's contacted the course on several occasions, yet they will not help with the situation. Anyway, given the circumstances, i have cancelled a PEI August golf trip i had planned several weeks ago. All that said, if you decide to play there, make sure you put your clubs in your car immediately following your round - I'm obviously not impressed with the resorts' management.

Hi Lloyd, You'll be happy to hear that we were able to locate your friend's clubs and the clubs he borrowed from you. As we suspected, another group that was at Crowbush that day mistakenly took his bag thinking it belonged to someone in their group. The clubs were shipped to him and on their way back now. Hopefully we'll see you at Crowbush in the future. Ryan

This is a must for the golfers. Very challenging, beautifully maintained course. You really get your moneys worth on this course. Even if your not a great golfer, the views are worth playing on this course

Our family played Links at Crowbush Cove twice, and found the course to be beautiful. We were there in July and did find that the course was quite buggy.
The staff are helpful and friendly, and it is very unpretentious.

We have played Crowbush so many times and brought our friends for their first visit. It is a gem! That being said, we are disappointed that with less than 2 weeks left in the golf season, the rates remain high season rates. It is the 2nd of October and the weather in PEI is very cold with high north winds. Rates should be reduced by 30-50% when the windchill is mid to low forties. Regardless, we still love Crowbush.

We booked by phone for Thursday golf for 9 holes @ Crowbush. We unfortunately were never told that 9 holes was only available after 5:00 p.m.
We paid $273.00 for the 2 of us to play around 11:00 a.m.(including cart)!!!
We are a couple in their 70's wanting to play 9 holes and since Crowbush had lots of good memories for us, we thought we would like to play it.
We thought this was a very expensive game of golf but then, we knew that golf on the Island was expensive. No one @ the Pro shoppe or anyone elsewhere told us...that the cost was for 18 holes.
So, we finished our 9 holes and left. When I went on line the next day and saw that the price was $100.00/per person + cart for 18 holes, we could not believe it.
This was the $273. we paid....for 9 holes.
I called The PEI Golf Booking people on the Island and complained and they said "they would see what could be done about the pricing".
The answer came back with "Sorry, you should have been told that the 9 holes is only after 5:00 p.m."
At home in Ontario, we are used to playing 9 holes at a reduced price...most anytime of the day and honestly @ our Age, we cannot play more than 9 holes.
So, BEWARE and we will make sure we tell all our friends who want to visit the Island about this experience. It left us with a very bad feeling about golf in PEI.
Since we are vacationing 2 weeks on the Island and obviously spending our money on the Island, we feel we should not return.

First, the Links at Crowbush Cove is not an actual "links" course. It is beside the shore, but it doesn't fit the definition of a true links course. That being said, the course is a good test of all of the golfer's skills and clubs. Nicely laid out, with an excellent variety of hole lengths and challenges. The course was in good condition, considering the awful winter last year. Greens were fast but not outrageous.

On the down side, considering the fees they charge (I paid $128 including a cart), I was disappointed. The greeting was perfunctory, with no real warmth. The price included practice balls, but the tees on the range were quite torn up, as if they had not been moved up or back in a week or so. The scorecard was cheap, made from recycled paper and didn't give any useable information to make the round more pleasant. When I returned the cart, there was noone to help unload or clean the clubs. In fact, in the 20 minutes that I waited for my ride, noone appeared to help anyone, until the golfer left the cart. Only then did someone come from the hut and drive the cart away. No "How was your round?" No "Thanks for coming!" The restaurant didn't give the impression that this place was special, with cheap furniture and a concrete floor. Food was passable but not memorable.

For $128, I expected more. Other clubs that I have played in Ontario, California, BC, Florida and South Carolina go out of their way to make the golfer feel welcome and to entice them to return.....and for half the price! To put it in strictly "value for money" terms, the course was good, but the surrounding experience did not give anything approaching value for money.

My friend had his clubs stolen here. If you go in to eat or have a drink, put your clubs away! He has been trying to contact them to get this resolved, with no success. Very sad ending to what was supposed to be a great vacation. We have had to cancel a trip back out there as we now have to replace a set of clubs. Be careful with your belongings because management just doesn't care.
