Nice beach, not busy

Great beach, if you want to spend a few hours relaxing by the water. Not very busy, not crowded. A good place to look for sea glass!

On a recommendation from a "true islander" we spent a wonderful afternoon on Sally's beach on east side of PEI. The tide was out so we walked the beach. The tide pools were full of interesting creatures. Great place for families and couples.

Good beach. Very secluded. Almost no one on the beach. only downfall was the amount of garbage on the beach.

We arrived at this beach as the tide was going out. The beach itself is lined with lovely white sand and is underutilized...one of PEI's well kept secrets! As the tide went out we explored the pools of water remaining in the rock formations and found them to be alive with small fish and sea creatures of various sizes and... More

We enjoyed our time here, on a quiet beach day. The weather was cooler than usual, so I guess that's why there weren't many people there. Lots of beachcombers, as well as myself. The beach is quite long, for wandering. There are washrooms and changing facilities, but no food to purchase. It's an unsupervised beach. It's quite aways in from... More

After reading great reviews I was very excited to visit Sally's Beach, but we came during low tide, so there were a lot of rocks and seaweed between the sand and water so it wasn't too great for us I'm sure it would be much nicer at higher tide

This place sounds like a great spot so we had to stop here en route to our next accommodation. There is small parking area where the bathroom facilities and picnic tables are located. A short walk through a path of trees and suddenly we found ourselves the middle of a deserted, red sandy beach. Because it is located some distance... More

No special effects, but a quiet and interesting (and free!) provincial park for beach-combing. One of the out-of-the-way spots.

We have been coming to P.E.I. every year since 1998 for an extended visit. This year we decided to follow the Eastern Shore Scenic Route from the ferry before heading to our lodging on the North Shore. We had never done part of this route. As we ambled our way along we came to this great park and this amazing... More

This is nothing like Ontario Provincial Parks. The history behind this park is wonderful. The beach and views are amazing. Red sand beach which goes on for a long time. There were very few people, lots of room and clean. The walkway was enjoyable. If you are in the area - stop and enjoy - you won't be disappointed. No... More
