Last week my wife and I attended a performance of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park" at the Watermark Theatre in North Rustico, PEI. It was a polished professional presentation in a small theatre designed to draw the audience into the action. "Theatre in the...More

For me, to spend a bright, warm summer evening at the local theatre should be a fun, relaxing and upbeat experience. Went last night and lasted until intermission before bailing. Mrs. Warren's Profession by G. B. Shaw does not cut it as summer theatre. Dull,...More

3 local artists each gave us their individual interpretation of a well know Adams' and Cumming's hit and then played one of their own creations. Local artists were Katy Mcgarry, Tegan Wigmore and Nathan Wily. It was a unique presentation however so very well preformed...More

Saw Blithe Spirit for its matinee last weekend. I go see something at this theatre every year and it rarely disappoints (I wasn't really feeling last year's Holocaust Romeo & Juliet, but that's the only exception I can think of). Blithe Spirit was funny and...More

Last week we were fortunate to attend both Blithe Spirit and The Glass Menagerie at the Watermark. We love the intimacy of this small theater, but more important, the acting was topnotch and filled with energy. Even toward the end of the season, the actors...More

Very interesting and pretty theatre. A great classic reinforced by amazing acting. "The Glass. Menagerie", a show not to be missed by any theatre lover.

Both Blithe Spirit and The Glass Menagerie were superbly done. Set, lighting, music and acting were outstanding. I have been going to The Watermark Theatre for many years now and quite frankly there isn't anything that I've seen there that I've disliked. Kudos to everyone...More

I am an Islander and was at the Watermark for the first time about a week ago to see Blithe Spirit. The venue is absolutely amazing, what a beautiful intimate theatre. The actors...especially Suzanne...wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Got my tickets to see Glass Menagerie for...More

We saw Blythe Spirit. We are regular Stratford visitors, saw Blythe Spirit there a couple of years back, I liked Watermarks production better. Great acting, intimate theatre. Contrary to what others have written I found the chairs comfortable. Wouldn't change a thing.
