This is more a review of North Rustico Harbor as opposed to the beach area, which, by the way, is interesting and beautiful in and of itself. There is a point with a lighthouse adjoining a small settlement which is very scenic and quaint. Most...More
A beautiful and natural beach with soft red sand and stunning red cliffs and dunes as a backdrop. Long enough for walking and close to the harbour and the village via the boardwalk. Quieter than Cavendish, but just as nice.

Go to Brackley Beach in the PEI national park. Far prettier than Cavendish. Go to Richards Restaurant in Covehead for the best fish and chips! Brackley has a drive in theatre too. A trip into Charlottetown is a must! So much to see and do. Check out the summer theatre at the Confederation Arts Centre and the historic Province House. The quaint village of Victoria by the sea on your way back to the confederation bridge is a lovely spot to stop. Have a great trip!!
