If you are doing a drive around PEI, Souris Lighthouse is a great place to stop and visit. The area is interesting and they have a great gift shop there as well. If you continue on the side road you will come across some restaurants as well. Well worth getting off the main road for a visit.

Wonderful store with local crafts. Friendly staff. There is admission fee to go up to the deck at the top of the lighthouse.

But, it was nice to visit. The sea/ocean is good to watch. Not much parking, basic information about this lighthouse.

Self guided tour for a donation. Was so windy that it was great to get out of the cold. Went up the three levels stairs were secure & there were extra hand holds thank goodness. Beautiful view. Then over to gift shop that was really nice. If in area I suggest stopping in

Very informative journey back in time related to this lighthouse and it was interesting to be able to climb inside of a working lighthouse.

So many of the light houses are not accessible so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to walk through this one and even better to be able to go out on the viewing deck. Our timing was just as the ferry was coming into dock so that was fun to watch.

At this lighthouse you can climb to the top and stand on the balcony. The view is great. Inside there is a good history of the lighthouse and short video about the fishing fleets. I found this to be a good place to visit.

A nice lighthouse overlooking the Souris harbor area. No guide here, but you're able to go to top of lighthouse and to the outside landing. Lots of historical items to see in the lighthouse. There is also a nice gift shop. Just east of the town of Souris.

We stopped into Souris on our travels along Points East Coastal Drive, went to the lighthouse park first ! This place retired the last lighthouse keeper on Prince Edward Island :) Not far from the lighthouse we went down a small dirt road and watched the ferry from Madeline Island, or Isle-de-Madeline ! Beautiful !
