Captain John and his lovely wife Julie provide a wonderful culinary experience on the water on the “Chaisson A Dream”. They are wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to bring a smile to your face and the best lobster to your tummy! Lots of laughter, foot stomping’ music, witty one liners. Had a fabulous time with friends! Lifetime memories made here.

First time in PEI, a group of 11 of us booked this EXPIERIENCE, and you guys KILLED IT . You brought strangers together for an afternoon of food and fun . Very informative.
Amazing day , and the BEST lobster we have ever had . Nothing fresher in the world .
Julie's salad was very fresh and home made not store bought .
Entertainment , fiddle music and step dancing was supreme.
Highly recommend to others who are on the fence .

Five of my visiting gal pals and I elected to head out on Chaisson a Dream. It is a real fishing boat that is also outfitted for excursions and is clean and comfortable.
We had a beautiful, sunny, fall day with calm seas. Captain JJ took us out a short distance from shore where we had lovely views of the town of Souris, the red cliffs and lush fields of PEI and Sheep’s Pond Beach.
JJ is a member of the local Chaisson family, renowned fiddlers. Their family even hosts the annual Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival so JJ’s truly earned his fiddle credentials. He played us numerous tunes, some traditional, some pop and encouraged requests and singalongs.
Cooked on board, the lobster doesn’t come any fresher. From sea to plate in about 30 minutes. The salads are tasty and the Seaside Bakery dinner rolls are the best from miles around.
JJ also educated us about the lobster industry in PEI and entertained us in general. Julie, his wife and gracious hostess, kept everything running smoothly and even performed a little step dancing.
As a seasonal resident, I spend about 5 months per year on PEI so I’ve experienced a lot of what the island has to offer. This is a unique and exceptional tour. Book it. You’ll be so glad you did.

Rain was predicted for our evening cruise so they rebooked us for the following day. Not much scenery as boat doesn’t go out far and the Fiddler, cook, and captain are all the same person so boat doesn’t move while eating but was very entertaining, learned some facts about lobsters, food was good and his children were charming helpers.

Our family of five enjoyed a beautiful lobster dinner with the captain’s amazing fiddling music and a gorgeous sunset. It doesn’t get much better that that! A must do when in PEI!
