About
Local theatre playhouse in the Village of Victoria by the Sea. Shows run all summer long - check out their website for listings. Very reasonable pricing. We were delighted to get tickets to Follow The Fiddler - a narrated walking tour of Victoria. This was an 'outdoor' play - we followed The Narrator, Erskine Smith, and The Fiddler through town and actors came out from behind a building; etc. and acted out a scene; told tales; sang songs. And as we walked away from each scene our narrator said; and now we'll follow the fiddler and as we walked strolled the streets lovely Cynthia MacLeod entertained us with Celtic fiddle tunes. Have never done anything quite like this. It was delightfully entertaining and one of the highlights our our Prince Edward Island trip. Perfect for all ages too!

Another entertaining show at this community theater.

Lots of laughs and folksy music. Some of his funniest lyrics are so dark he could be the Stephen King of comedy. We are new fans of Mr. Elliott!

Love this intimate theater!

We love this beautiful little theater in Victoria. Each summer When we visit from the states we make sure to get tickets to whatever is playing. This year we saw beyond the sea. It was a very slow start so we were a little concerned at first… However, the two-person cast is very talented. They drew us in and kept us interested until the finish. It was thought-provoking and lighthearted. There’s so much talent on PEI we highly recommend visiting theater while you’re here!

I was very disappointed in the production “Open casket ,Open Mic.”It was just silliness and I had a very difficult time to stay awake .Waste of $35.00 and two hours of time plus travel time .

A bit of a slow start but a strong finish. Good acting and a good story. Great community theater and a beautiful seaside village.

We have never been disappointed. The show was funny and tender and heart-warming and the actresses top notch. In this day and age of streaming entertainment, it is so refreshing to be able to enjoy a live performance.

Love this little theatre! The performances are always top notch and the atmosphere is so friendly. This theatre affords you the opportunity to be very close to the stage and connected with the performers. The 2019 production of "Where you Are" is humorous, entertaining and very touching. So grateful the theatre is still offering high quality performances each year when we visit PEI.

Visited Victoria by the Sea to attend a concert at the playhouse and made a dinner date night out of it. Quaint town, great theater venue. Be sure to check out their calendar.

Such talent! The play was funny at times, serious sometimes and thought provoking all the time. This theatre has consistently delivered performances second to none. We always enjoy our visits to this unique PEI village. If you have tickets to the playhouse why not have a snack or a meal at one of the restaurants - all are excellent.

In the past 2 months, I have attended two events here - the first a folk concert from Madison Violet and more recently, the Play "The Myth of the Ostrich". This is an intimate small theatre, but don't let its size fool you about the quality of the entertainment. The playhouse itself is accessible. The seats are comfortable and the theatre is Air conditioned. During the break they serve water, coffee and a few candies on the patio (and sometimes, but not always).. a glass of wine. The myth of the Ostrich is a hilarious play, but the themes and language are definitely for an adult audience. I haven't laughed so hard in ages.
