Three fantasy-like buildings made up of approximately 30 000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes, surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. A haven for nature lovers, recyclers and photographers. The late Edouard Arsenault built the structures in the early 80's, spending the last four years of his life in this amazing project - family-run for over twenty-five years. Featured in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and "1000 Places to see before you die".

Our 2 year old loved going in and out of the houses. She is cute like that. Very interesting to look at and read about. Cost us 16$ for 2 adults a 2 year old and our infant. Cute little gift shop. Beautiful gardens. Small...More

These are really impressive, and definitely merit a visit if you're in the area. It doesn't take a long time to tour the grounds, but the designs and gardens are quite nice, and the history behind the construction (then deconstruction and reconstruction!) is quite impressive.

Well worth the drive. The grounds are lovely. Totally unique. Very pleasant staff. Found 2 Christmas gifts, in their shop. Many items haven.t seen elsewhere. Highly recommend.

The bottle houses are very cool to look at and even more amazing considering one man collected all the bottles and made them. It is $8 each to get in though and only took about 10 mins to walk through. A little over priced.More

Thanks for your review Sam. Glad you were touched by the work of my late father. Upon checking costs to visit other places on P.E.I., we feel our prices are quite reasonable; we strive to keep our prices as low as possible while still being...More

Visited with my family. This is a unique concept and the location on the water makes it worth the drive, particularly if you take a coastal route. The gardens were beautiful, staff welcoming.

Great place!! Definitely a must see if you are in PEI. The woman running it is the daughter of the man who built them. The history of how he built them and how they did restoration was fascinating. And the gardens are beautiful. You really...More

We enjoyed a relaxing stroll around the bottle buildings and gardens, though the mosquitos also enjoyed, us, as they did many places on PEI. Fascinating to learn about three generations devotion to building and rebuilding the bottle houses and chapel and adding to this attraction.

I would not consider this to be a "must see" attraction when you visit the island, but it is worth a stop if you are close by. You enter and leave the grounds through a good sized gift shop. The nice thing about the shop...More

Thanks so much "VillagerRick" for your appreciation of our Bottle Houses. Little did my father realize that after 37 years, visitors would still be awed at his creativity and ingeniosity. I'm sure he never imagined his after retirement project (last 4 years of his life)...More

I loved the light shining through the thousands of bottles used in these three buildings. The bottles are arranged in colourful patterns that literally glow when the sun shines through the glass. The gardens surrounding the buildings were very beautiful as well, and there is...More
