We came here because of the Bonaventure River. We joined the Famous Tour. We were not expert as we only played kayaking once or twice every year. So we were surprised that this six hour tour was not too difficult. The tour was well organized. We were brought to the upstream of the river (two yellow school buses). They had stuff to patrol in the river. The river itself was beautiful. We had never seen something like this before. We would like to do it again in the future.

A definite YES! Very well organized, friendly staff, excellent equipment. The river is beautiful! You cannot imagine how clear the water is ... not a weed in sight! We did the "famous tour" by kayak (single), which was perfect.

Very bad experience, very bad customer service at the reception, dirty camp and they did not send us an email or call notifying our tour was cancelled. Not solutions offer by the staff. I recommend Find a better place and people that care of visitors.

The river kayak activity was loads of fun and the river itself is beautiful. But the service was so-so and the instructions provided were brief and barely audible - it's a bit chaotic when the time came for everyone to get into their kayaks/canoes.

The river si beautiful and the boat as nice, but the facilities, main building, toilets, etc. were old, poorly repaired and a lot of rubbish on the grounds. Quite disgusting

Response from Élodie B, Directeur général at Cime Aventures
Responded Aug. 31, 2020
Dear Kato146, We are glad you enjoyed the river and provided gear. We understand you found our installations old looking. We are a rustic campground with facilities that serve 3,5 months per year, which is different from running year round. We also aren't a park or public facility, but a private business. Our cleaning and maintenance team are working very hard at keeping things tidy and we are surprised by your comment since we've doubled our effectives in this department due to Covid measures. We would have appreciated if you would have let you know during your stay where you saw trash on the ground, our priority is to fix it. On rainy days, mud is part of the adventure as we are in the woods, we know it does affect the first sight. Thanks for letting us know your impressions and thanks for visiting us. Be sure your comment will be considered for improvements. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Sincerely, Élodie Brideau, associate Cime Aventures, a family business since 1989
