The promotional material will tell you the river is incredibly clear - that is absolutely true. We did the 20km trek and were often struck by how beautiful the scenery was. However, a few issues must be pointed out regarding management and organisation: 1) Registration was incredibly inefficient and lengthy. Brace yourself. 2) Supplied life jackets had a certain... aroma... More

My Husband and I went to Cime Aventures last week and had a blast. We did the explorer tour, our guide was great and the river was the most amazing thing. Later that night we checked in to our eco lodge and had diner at the restaurant. Everything was perfect from the friendly staff, amazing room, good food and fun... More

Informative website and well organized company offering river adventures along the Bonaventure. We were three families who rented rafts for the 4 hour paddle back to the parking lot. River was mostly flat with three main areas of rapids that were easily managed by our group. It was a beautiful setting through untouched forests. Water was a clear green. Greatest... More

We went to do the familiale, which is kayaking/canoeing down the river for a couple of hours. The registering part is a bit long since they insist that we did it ourselves in the computer available in the lobby, but once that's done, everything else is fun fun fun. We took two kayaks: simple and double. The double was easier.... More

This is a place where you can rent a kayak for the day, paddle down to the ocean, and get picked up by a bus that will bring you back to your car. It's reasonably priced, and the Bonaventure river is absolutely stunning. On site there is camping and a restaurant that offers hot dog type cuisine. There is a... More

We did the double kayak 2 h tour. The tour itself is absolutely fantastic: stunning landscapes, the gorgeous transparent Bonaventure River... It's an experience to live. However, it could be better organized. People on the reception don't give you full information, take long to register u, and they also take long to put the kayaks and canons on the water,... More

Cime Aventures was very helpful in planning our trip down the Bonaventure River from the moment we contacted them. They helped us plan a customized trip which included a stay in a wonderful quiet secluded ecolodge built in the trees for some of us and also a teepee beside the river for others. The river guide provided a map and... More

Our experiences at Cime Aventure have been the high light of our Canadian summer trip. This place is a combination of rustic and eclectic. The staff always goes the distance to assist and please. They remembered our names as we have visited Cime on three ocasions this year.  We have savored all their venues and would highly recomend a river... More

We booked the "Family Tour", a 2-hour self-guided river descent. Excellent experience for beginner-level paddlers (or "no experience" level like us). The river is calm and the descent promises two hours of great family fun. Make sure you book either a canoe (maximum two adults accompanied by a small child) or kayaks - single or double. Forget the raft: too... More
