- The AlonsNew Jersey26 contributionsFun visitWell maintained and easy access to see & feed the wild life. Highly recommended for all group ages. At the end of November there was already some snow and lakes were frozen but still is worth the visit. We will try to come back during summer to see the bears. Easy drive from Montreal.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten December 25, 2023
- Sarah ZExeter, United Kingdom224 contributionsWonderfulWonderful place where you can get close up and personal with some of the animals. Make sure to take a big bag of carrots! Despite the dreadful weather, we saw most of the animals, only missing out on the bears who no doubt were safely tucked up for the winter.Visited December 2023Travelled with friendsWritten December 25, 2023
- Jon9344Workington, United Kingdom250 contributionsAmazing placeWe were recommended to try here as we were heading to Montreal from Ottawa, so pleased we did. It was a Saturday so naturally going to be busier but still easy to navigate and see the animals come upto the car for a carrot. Seen some amazing animals on the route including some bears that came out whilst we were heading past. We bought carrots before entering but they can be bought at the park. There are cafe facilities with a little gift shop etc around the route. Recommended for sureVisited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 31, 2023
- CoryOrillia, Canada5 contributionsAlready planning out returnParc Omega provided an unparalleled experience for our family! Our son adored feeding the deer, and the diverse wildlife—elk, bison, wolves, bears, foxes, and more—left us in awe. The pods were a delightful stay, offering cleanliness, coziness, and all amenities amidst nature. With electricity, hot water, AC, heating, and a well-equipped kitchenette, these pods ensure comfort. The queen bed and mezzanine double bed were perfect for our family adventure. The restaurant overlooking the lake offered stunning views of elk crossings. The staff's excellence enhanced our dining pleasure. A solid 10/10—already planning our return!Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten January 8, 2024
- OzetravellersGold Coast, Australia1,105 contributionsWolf chalet overnight - wow!!!!We drove from Montreal which took 1.5 hours . Park was easy to find. It is huge . As it was winter the bears were sleeping though we managed to see one which came out of its den briefly for some reason (rather confused)! There is a restaurant at the entrance where you can buy a bag of carrots for $4. Bring your own - it will be much cheaper! You need at least a bag per person as the animals (mainly deer) will surround your car and put their heads in The window til you feed them! The only problem we had was that the radio didn’t play information as was advertised. We also stayed in the wolf chalet overnight. We checked in at 4pm (earliest possible) and it was absolutely amazing !!! Book well in advance ! It was a full house with full kitchen so you can take your dinner and breakfast. The good restaurant at the park is only wed-sun. In the morning there is a private wolf tour with feeding and information. There is time to go back and check out . There is free entry to the park the day before and after your stay . Expensive but once in a lifetime experience!!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten January 25, 2024
- Lucie M11 contributionsOmega park Mega bucks to visit !Unfortunately the price is way too high for a family of 4. At $200 for 1 hour we simply couldn’t afford it. It’s too bad management doesn’t adjust pricing per car like it used to be vs per person especially in the winter.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten February 18, 2024
- greeneyes630Maugansville, Maryland2,400 contributionsLoved it.My husband and I stayed 2 nights while road tripping Niagara Falls to Montreal. Parc Omega was absolutely the highlight of our trip. We stayed in a wolf chalet. One does not need to stay overnight to enjoy the drive through safari. Bring lots of carrots these animals have a bottomless pit. And be ready to laugh your way through. About the chalet. The layout is duplex style. The walls are thin, we could occasionally hear muffled voices. There’s a pack of 5 wolves. A suggestion to the Parc: a photo with name and age of each pack member would be helpful. We stayed in unit 3, a 2 bedroom, 2 story, nicely furnished unit. Housekeeping could do a better job. Our floor was filthy, not just dirt, but I found clumps of the previous guest’s hair weave. We went into town to buy windex because the floor to ceiling windows were smudged with hand prints. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare whatever meal you’d like. The floors are heated throughout the downstairs, we didn’t see controls for upstairs, so we’re guessing they are not. One bedroom has a balcony. There’s a wood burning stove. Outside has a fire pit and chairs. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend. We ate in the restaurant and coffee shop, purchased in the gift shop, as well as, ate in town and made 2 trips to the grocery store.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten March 8, 2024

- smithfamily6844 contributionsAn amazing, memorable stayWe stayed in one of the wolf chalets and it was an amazing experience that I would recommend. We didn’t want to leave! The chalet was beautifully fitted out with a high quality kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We were able to spend lots of time watching the wolves from the balcony and windows, with the wolves coming right up to the glass on numerous occasions. Our children were thrilled, and we got lots of photos. In the morning we were awoken to the sound of the wolves howling which was a memorable experience. We followed our stay with a visit to the park the next morning and had a fantastic time. Our stay at Parc Omega was the highlight of our visit to Canada and we would love to stay again in the future!Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that your visit to Parc Omega was memorable. It's always a pleasure to read comments like yours. We sincerely hope to see you again soon in the park! 😊Written September 2, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten August 29, 2024

It was extremely pricey $$$ for what it is! It took a while before we got to see the wolves up close and that was short lived.
Compared to other animals in the park, the wolves seemed to have a small area. If you have a lot of money and don't care about paying so much to see wolves through a window then it's ok. If you think it's quite expensive and hope it's worth it, it's not.
It is definately not worth the price they charge, not even at 50%. At the time my husband and I went it was $700 a night and didn't include the tour of the park!! I heard it includes the tour now but it absolutely doesn't justify charging so much.

My children and I arrived at the wolf bain at 3:30 pm excited about our long anticipated stay. We packed up and left the chalet five hours later cold, hungry and very disappointed. I was shocked by the complete lack of customer support (as well as the lack of heat, functioning kitchen and blankets in this $1000.00 per night accomodation). Despite my repeated requests in both French and English to have these issues addressed, my children remained huddled in the 13 degree luxury chalet, cold and hungry yet determined not to give up on this opportunity to "sleep with the wolves".
The management response was shocking. There was no apology for the broken heat, lack of blankets, and non-functioning stove and microwave - not even a place to warm up or a warm drink. Instead they dismissed the situation by saying that it was not their fault that their attempts to fix these basic issues failed. After five hours of trying not to disappoint my children I gave up, got a refund and left.
The silver lining is that we drove to the Chateau Montebello where we were immediately offered exceptional customer service and amenities (including hot chocolate to warm us up) at one quarter of the price.
This is the first time in over 30 years of travel that I have left a review but I am doing so in hopes that others do not have my experience.
Also, this experience is in no way reflective of the day at Parc Omega itself. My children and I had a wonderful day encountering wildlife and exploring the walking trails.

Overall this was a fun two-hour or so experience. We came around 3:30 which didn’t give us as much time as we had hoped since it got dark. I think lights and better signage would help all of us in the dark. We were stuck in the same place for 30 minutes waiting for people to drive since they were worried about running over the boars that blend in. Better signage in general (or more consistent signage) would be nice to prevent people from feeding animals that aren’t allowed carrots or in the wolf area (where windows need to be rolled up). We saw so many types of animals (wolves, elk, moose, deer, boars, etc.) The restaurant, cafe, and other amenities were well kept and great places to explore. The area by #11 where you can look at deer up close should be better regulated considering people were chasing the deer around and leaving the trail. We seemed to be some of the only people following the rules for the safety of the animals (their diets). Many animals had huge open fields to explore but I worry that the wolves and some other animals were more confined and didn’t have as many “friends” or companions. I do recommend if you’re on your way to Ottawa or Montreal and are looking for a fun daytime activity. It is a bit pricey so bringing your own carrots might cut down on the overall entry price. (However I do understand the price reflects the care and maintenance of this space)

This was my second trip, and as always, a lot of fun, especially for those who haven't been before. The four-legged greeters upon arrival are always fun but be sure to save a few carrots for the fallow deer who roam around the rest stop further into the park and will come up to you. This time, we discovered the Wolf observation area near the rest stop. It was feeding time and so we were treated to the whole pack feeding a few feet beyong the glass walls. The guide there was excellent and answered all questions in French and English. A delightful day.

Three of us went here and had a lot of laughs. The deer try snd put their heads right into the car if you leave your window open in order to get a carrot. They are very entertaining. You can drive a car from them that you rent for an additional $114.00 instead of your own if you wish. We saw lots of animals.

Very disappointing experience. Our stay in the chalet with the wolves was far from living up to our expectations. A promise of 2 bathrooms, we only found one. The lack of wifi, the absence of a welcome bottle of water, the blocked heating and the only fire starter for the fireplace made our stay uncomfortable and cold. In addition, the two large beds advertised turned out to be 140, and a single bathrobe for 4 people was clearly insufficient. 2 welcome chocolates for 4. A blast for a night at $700.
To top it off, if you didn't want to feel queasy seeing animals locked in enclosures that were too small when the promise was to have a safari with the animals in total freedom. Only wild boars and deer were free.

We stayed in a Wi-tent, after staying in the Prospector Cabins in previous years. When we showed up the tent was VERY warm, and no windows of course to cool it down. I left the screen doors to breathe the tent out and it was very comfortable by evening, but something to consider for other travelers as there was no fan or other cooling source if you're sensitive to heat.
The tent was well equipped, clean and spacious. The deer were right on site. Unlike last year (due to Covid), the boardwalks over the bears and wolves were open and were a huge hit with the kids. There is some construction going on in the mornings; I believe they are replacing boards. This did not bother us in the slightest even though we could hear it. Again, only noteworthy if you are sensitive to those kinds of distractions. The staff was super friendly.

Oméga Park was so much fun. The kids (2 & 6) were thrilled to see so many animals and feed them. We weren’t sure how big of a bag of carrots we would get and were surprised the bags were so big! We took our time driving and spent almost two hours on the road course.
When we went there was only a small « drive through » snack shop with very limited food options so I would recommend packing a pic-nic lunch as there are tables set up.

Ciao, vorrei sapere all'incirca quanto tempo ci si impiega per visitare con calma tutto il parco (considerando anche la pausa pranzo)
Grazie

Hi,
To visit the park, we recommend you allow a minimum of about 1 hour and a half. If you want to take your time, the visit can be done in about 3 hours. It's also possible to spend the whole day at the Park, visiting all our different attractions and participating in our activities.
Either way, there's no time limit on your visit: you can arrive when the Park opens and leave when it closes if you wish.
You can even leave the Park during your visit and return later in the day by presenting your admission ticket again, at the entrance.
Enjoy your day and your visit!

Hi 😊,
You can purchase your tickets online on our website. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any difficulties. We would be happy to help you.

Hi! From the Q&A it seems like the animals are habituated to people and cars and will accept food when it is offered. Is this also true of the wolves?? What would you recommend to someone who would especially like to see wolves, and not necessarily at such close range?
Written January 1, 2024
You can’t feed the wolves. Driving through the wolf enclosure just before closing when it was quiet was great. We went earlier in the day but less active and many sleeping out of view. We are so pleased we did a second loop.
