This is a very serene place to walk around and reflect. The original church burned down, so this was a rebuild, therefore, not as old as I had anticipated, but still very beautiful.

We were impressed here! This huge basilica we did not expect here. The normal and crypt level churches gave us a strong deja vue to Lourdes FRANCE ! Go and visit, also for non religious people a must to visit. Beautiful ceilings, magnificent statues etc.

I visit on a whim since I had extra time in Quebec City. This cathedral compares to some visited around the world. It is awe inspiring...this great church in the middle of rural Quebec. You will be amazed by the sheer size of this beauty....More

In my opinion this Church rivals some of the great churches of Europe. It is architecturally massive and imposing. The stained glass, paintings and mosaics are breathtaking to view. Be sure to look up, around and down to catch all the details of this Church....More

We spent four hours walking around inside the church, so beautiful! Outside are the stations of the cross and next store is the gift shop. We attended easter mass which was in French but again so beautiful.

We went there after visiting the waterfall of Beaupré and before doing a tour of Ile d'Orléans. It is a beautiful church inside and out and I am sure it is even more beautiful in the summer time. For some people that are not aware...More

There are precious few basilicas in North America that can rival this one's interior: One could spend an entire day taking in the mosaics, stained glass, and sculpture here. A must-visit for all those coming to Quebec City.

The cathedral is fully accessible. There is an elevator to move from the different levels. It is a bit off the usual hallways but it is easy to find. There would be no issue with manoeuving a personal mobility scooter... More
