All around the Plaza at Easter, there were tents set up for the Artisans to sell their products. One block away at a smaller Plaza, the native women were making a sweet bread wrapped in corn husks. Very tasty and unique.

It is very relaxing walking around this Plaza while eating one Nieve or Elotes! There is always something going on and the colonial architecture is just perfect : ) I highly recommend this place!

We've seen many Mexican plazas, and Patzcuaro's is the prettiest! A dedicated army of cleaners keeps it tidy, as they obviously take great pride in it. Sunday nights are the liveliest, with families strolling and eating and often watching live entertainment.
