Yal-ku is cool in part because it achieves both the still tranquility of a lagoon and the wildness of the ocean--the two bodies of water connect and you're free to swim around as you please! There are a ton of fish in the lagoon section...More

We went 7 years ago and it was much quieter. There were quite a few tour groups that weren't the most respectful but it is still fairly natural and low key with some limited parking.

You'll feel like you've stepped back in time to a lost lagoon. Surrounded by lush landscape, this peaceful place is a spot where the ocean water meets fresh water. Perfect for snorkeling.

We had a great afternoon here there were lots of fish to look. It was easy to find. It does get crowded with tours, earlier in the morning is better time. Definitely an experience not to be missed

Beautiful lagoon with lots of fish and knowledgeable tour guides. A strange thing to see the Oily Texter in the water of salt water and freshwater mixing together. The water was very cold in June. It was fun to get out and see something different....More
